Watch Bishop Eddie "Down Low" Long Address His Congregation That He Won’t Resign

Bishop Eddie Long aka Bishop Eddie “Down Low”  Long finally responded today to the gay sex scandal he’s found himself in over the past week
“Down Low” preched from the pulpit during his sermon at  The New Birth Missionary Baptist Church: (in which he dedicated a whole 3 minutes out of a 22 minute sermon)

“There have been allegations and attacks made on me. I have never in my life portrayed myself as a perfect man, but I am not the man being portrayed on television. That’s not me. That is not me…I am not going to try this case in the media, it will be tried in the court of justice and decided in the court of justice. Please hear this: I’ve been accused. I’m under attack. I want you to know as I said earlier I am not a perfect man… But this thing I’m going to fight. I feel like David against Goliath, but I’ve got five rocks and I haven’t thrown one yet.”

It’s really obvious considering how quite “Down Low” has been that his attorneys are hard at work trying to settle out of court. Then his lawyers will announce that the good “bishop” can’t speak about this matter as it is now settled. In the meantime, his attorneys will say it’s all a big misunderstanding. After all, don’t all clergymen give cars and other expensive gifts to the teenage boys?

Oh and btw Eddie that is the GAYEST suit jacket with embroidered crest thingy. He might want to butch it up! (ust a suggestion)

Closet Case Bishop Eddie Long To Step Down Sunday As FOURTH Accuser Steps Forward In Gay Sex Harrasment Lawsuit

Self-loathing, down-low, closet case Pastor Eddie Long will be stepping down from the pulpit at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church after Sunday’s sermon according to various sites including Various sites, including AOL’s Black Voices. This comes the wake of a FOURTH young man pressing charges allegations against Long.for innaproppriate sexua conduct The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Spencer LeGrande, named in a civil lawsuit filed Friday, claims he was 17 the first time the two had a sexual relationship while vacationing in Nairobi, Kenya.  LeGrande, of Charlotte, N.C., alleges that the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church pastor gave him an Ambien, a popular prescription sleep aid, followed by a “prolonged hug,” kissing and rubbing, according to the suit. The suit claims the two shared a bed for the remainder of their trip.”

Long denies all the charges but has been very quiet about them the past few days.  The latest statement comes from his lawyers who say:  We believe that it is unfortunate the young men have chosen to take this course of action. The defense team will review the complaints and respond accordingly at the appropriate time and in the appropriate forum.”   (Like HUSH Money)
