Former President Donald Trump is insisting that he immediately be re-installed as president or that a new election be called.

Why? Because of Mark Zuckerberg of course.

Via Mediaite: A Mark Zuckerberg interview in which the Facebook founder reiterated his previous claim that the FBI warned him of a potential dump of Russian misinformation weeks before the 2020 general election that Trump lost to President Joe Biden. Yes, the former president really did demand he be reinstated as president 664 days after losing the election. By any objective measure, it’s nuts. Batshit crazy. Trump first made the bizarre demand Monday at midday, then “re-truthed” his comments at roughly 2 a.m. Tuesday. And yet, despite the jaw-dropping lunacy of his latest demand, the vast majority of conservative media are choosing to ignore the madness of the former president: In the past 20 hours, Trump’s claims have not been mentioned once on Fox News.

Also today in the Bizzaro world of Trump news on the FBI’s list of documents seized from Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, item 1a is listed solely as “info re: President of France.” 

Via Rolling Stone: For Trump, that has been a subject of intense — and tawdry — interest for years. Specifically, Trump has bragged to some of his closest associates — both during and after his time in the White House — that he knew illicit details about the love life of French President Emmanuel Macron. And the former president even claimed that he learned about some of this dirt through “intelligence” he had seen or been briefed on, these sources say.  It’s not clear whether the Macron-related document the FBI seized during the raid had anything at all to do with the French president’s personal life. Nor is it clear whether the information on Macron seized from Mar-a-Lago is derived from U.S. intelligence collection or even classified.

Good luck with trying to shame the French with sex. They aren’t puritans, that’s America’s bullshit.

Now me personally. Id be happy to have some highly personal “sex intel” on (with? in?) Emmanuel Macron.

Over one hundred thousand people thousand flooded the streets of central Paris for the annual Gay Pride parade on Saturday, with plenty of exuberance but also calls to “carry on the struggle” against discrimination.

Marchers wound their way through the French capital under the traditional rainbow colours of the LGBT community. 
Among the slogans waved on placards were “You don’t have a monopoly on families”, “Close down the Vatican” and “Neither the world nor women are here to be conquered”.

But that did not stop the haters from hating.

A self-confessed “far-right anti-LGBT activist” was arrested for ripping a rainbow flag at the French parliament on the eve of Saturday’s LGBTI parade in Paris. Earlier in the week vandals defaced rainbows painted on the street amid a right-wing backlash against official support for gay rights.

For the first time ever two rainbow flags were placed at the doors of the National Assembly this week as a “symbol of the fight against homophobia

Right-wingers and hardline Catholics demonstrated as the parliament debated the government’s gay marriage bill but failed to prevent it being passed.

Graffiti was sprayed on rainbow street crossings in the Marais, a centre of gay nightlife in Paris.

The city council responded by painting two more crossings and announcing that the decoration would become permanent, a “resolutely positive and benevolent signal” according to Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo.

right-wing politicians and social media users were horrified President Emmanuel Macron’s invitation to techno artistes to perform at the presidential palace during the annual music festival.

During the event LGBTQ dancers performed on the steps and posed for a photo with Macron and his wife Brigitte.

“Help!” was National Rally (formerly National Front) leader Marine Le Pen’s reaction to ,the photo while mainstream-right Republicans MP Julien Aubert stormed that “the presidency of the republic is not a nightclub and even less a strip joint”.

The photo was “an insult to France’s heart”,

Christophe Castaner, who heads Macron’s Republic on the Move party, hit back with a call to distribute the photo as widely as possible, “since it upsets a part of the political class that normalises racist and homophobe statements”.

Newly Elected French President Emmanuel Macron Calls on Putin to Protect Gay Chechens

French president Emmanuel Macron says he has urged Vladimir Putin to ensure that the rights of LGBT people are protected following allegations of a crackdown on gay men in the Russian republic of Chechnya.

The Russian president was in France for talks with Macron, two weeks after his election victory. Macron’s call comes after widespread reports of a brutal campaign by the authorities against gay men in Chechnya, including assaults, torture and murder.

“I emphasized to President Putin…how important it is for France to respect all people, all minorities,” Macron said during a news conference with the Russian leader.

France welcomed its first gay refugee from Chechnya on Monday. The refugee’s arrival was confirmed by Joël Deumier, president of French gay right’s group SOS Homophobie, who said more may follow in the coming days

The United States has reportedly been denying visas from gay Chechen men and women seeking escape from the anti-gay country and its current barbaric regime.
