AFTAH’s “Porno” Pete LaBarbera Gets Kicked Out Of Dan Savage Event For Harassing Audience Member

Last night Dan Savage appeared  at Elmhurst College, near Chicago Illinois to talk about the “It Gets Better Project”.  But a surprise “Special Guest” also attended the event.  None other than American’s For Truth About Homosexuality’s hate group President Porno Peter LaBarbera,  who during a Q&A started an argument with a women in the audience and then got kicked out of the event on his ever hating chapless pants ass!

LaBarbera, of course ran home crying to his computer, logged onto Twitter and then tried to play the victim card.

I wonder if GOProud will be demanding an apology from Peter LaBarbera?

Elmhurst College To Ask Prospective Students About Sexual Orientation

Wait, don’t get your panties in a bunch, this is actually a good thing. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Elmhurst College, the small liberal arts college in Illinois, will become the first college in the nation to ask prospective students about their sexual orientation. The one line, “Would you consider yourself to be a member of the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered) community?” has been added to the application, and student have to option to answer “yes,” “no,” or “prefer not to answer.” Why would they do this? Why kind of diabolical discrimination plot is this school planning? I’m sure you’ll be surprised to learn, there is no nefarious plot behind this question, as a matter of fact their are some extraordinarily positive aspects to answering the question.

Those who answer “yes” may be eligible for a scholarship worth up to one-third of tuition, not unusual because about 60 percent of incoming students receive some type of scholarship aid, Rold [Gary Rold, Dean of Admissions] said. More importantly, he said, knowing students’ sexual orientation will help officials direct incoming students toward services or groups that might help them make an easier transition to college life.

Bravo Emlhurst College! This goes to prove that social change continues to begin with our universities and colleges.
