The AIDS Healthcare Foundation, and its rather obnoxious President Micheal Weinstein has served subpoenas on several HIV testing centers demanding them to turn over confidential patient privacy data as part of their lawsuit on Measure B an AHF-backed referendum which mandates the use of condom in all porn productions in Los Angeles County.

This is a clear HIPPA violation, and an affront to performer dignity. As a healthcare provider schooled in patient privacy, AHF should be ashamed. AHF is hoping that by combing through patients’ private medical records, they can find something that would serve their political campaign. For all its high-minded rhetoric about protecting performers, AHF has never cared much for performer privacy. In campaign after campaign after campaign, AHF has proposed regulations that would expose performer’s personal data to hackers, to stalkers, to the government and to AHF itself. It’s just one reason that performers have been so vocal in their opposition to AHF and Michael Weinstein. Performers are not a public health threat. Performers are not a means to a political end. Performers are men and women who may work in non-traditional positions, but have the same right to privacy as anyone, including Michael Weinstein. These subpoenas are unconscionable, indecent and offensive. Performers deserve better than to have would be ‘porn czar’ Michael Weinstein peaking through their blinds and snooping through their private medical records. We call on Michael Weinstein to call off this noxious campaign, and for the board of AIDS Healthcare Foundation to #RemoveWeinstein.
Weinstein and the AHF have also spent millions advertising campaigns against the use of Truvada as an HIV preventive. Some people think that his is the vendetta of a man whose partner died of AIDS years and years ago.

Well today writing over at World Net Daily, Buchanan explains how the Supreme Court’s decision this week is really just part of its wider agenda imposing the religion of “secular humanism” on the American public:
The Supreme Court has ordered the de-Christianization of all public institutions in what was a predominantly Christian country. Christian holy days, holidays, Bibles, books, prayers and invocations were all declared to be impermissible in public schools and the public square.
Secular humanism became, through Supreme Court edict, our established religion in the United States.
And the American people took it.
Why was there not massive civil disobedience against this anti-Christian discrimination, as there was against segregation? Why did Congress, which has the power to abolish every federal district and appellate court and to restrict the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court, not act?
Its surprising that no one talks anymore about Buchanan’s involvement in the Nixon Administration and its scandals. Buchanan joined Nixon’s staff as a young (25 year old), bright and extreme partisan. He was part of Nixon’s absolute inner circle — the first full-time staffer hired when Nixon began his comeback in 1966, and one of the last half-dozen friends and aides who remained loyal until the end. Buchanan avoided major attack because he declined a chance to lead the break-in at Daniel Ellsberg’s office (for strategic reasons), and documented his decision in a memo. But he was involved in a number of disturbing episodes that are innocent only relative to crimes of Colson, Haldeman and Magruder. For example, unethical and even illegal dirty tricks against campaign opponents, his admitted attempts to cover up Watergate by urging Nixon to burn the infamous White House tapes, and worst of all, his role in using the IRS against political enemies.
Buchanan even admits to obstruction of justice in the matter. He urged Nixon, in a documented memo, to destroy the White House tapes that eventually proved his crimes and led to his resignation. That, of course, would have been illegal obstruction of justice, as even Fred Buzhardt, the White House lawyer at the end, acknowledged. “If we’d decided to destroy the tapes, that would have been real obstruction of justice, and we couldn’t even talk about it.” Nonetheless, Buchanan defends his memo to Nixon, even to this day. His only regret? “I should have pressed him harder to burn them.”

A 20-year-old Iowa college student who worked for Bradlee Dean’s “You Can Run But You Cannot Hide” ministry until late last month, has gone public with allegations that “the ministry” is actually a cult and that Dean is a crook after he was hired for a job and instead Dean took all his money, mentally abused him and kept him alienated from the world.
Dean is best know for being Michelle Bachmann’s boy toy, kicked out of WalMart parking lots for fake “Christian” ministry begging, and who also filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit against Rachel Maddow which he lost and now refuses to pay the court ordered legal fees.

Jake Dagel, a former employee of Bradlee Dean’s Minnesota based ministry, You Can Run But Can Not Hide International, is publicly coming forward today to share his experiences while working with the ministry. Dagel believes the ministry is a cult who manipulates and controls the minds of its employees. Dagel has also found through investigation that the ministry has abused donation money.
Dagel, a 20 year old student from Iowa first came into contact with Dean’s ministry when he invited him to speak at his community college in Iowa. Two weeks after the presentation Dagel became an employee of the ministry and joined the street evangelism team. While on the team Dagel traveled the country with the ministry to share the gospel in public locations.
Dagel reports that while working with the street evangelism team he was belittled and told he knew little about how Christianity worked, there was little for him back at home, was forced to tithe to the ministry, and that not talking to his family was normal. Dagel was also not allowed to watch television and was told to not pay attention to any media.
While traveling back from Florida on Saturday, June 29th the evangelism team made a stop around 3:00 AM in Pulawski, Tennessee to get gas. Dagel was told it was his turn to pay for gas but did not have the money to do so. Dagel was then instructed to either pay for gas or grab his belonging and get out of the vehicle. Because Dagel was without money to pay for the gas he got out of the vehicle while members of the ministry drove off to their destination.
Upon further investigation Dagel has found that according to You Can Run International’s 2011 IRS Form 990, President Bradlee Dean was paid $80,261 in compensation and $41,860 in housing allowance in 2011 for a total of $122,121. This is an increase of a $24,931 from the 2009 IRS Form 990. Secretary Jacob MacAulay was paid $55,604 in compensation and $25,678 in housing allowance for a total of $81,282 in 2011. This is an increase of $14,385 from the 2009 IRS Form 990.
“This so called ministry is clearly a cult due to the way it manipulates and controls its employees,” said Dagel. “It is also clear that the ministry abuses donation money by its administrators taking large housing allowances when many of its employees struggle to pay their own bills. I am making this information public in hopes that others will reconsider being employed by the ministry and giving them any money in donation.”
An investigation in 2011 and reported here at Back2Stonewall also shows that Bradlee Dean is not an ordained minister of any mainstream domination and bought his “ministry credentials” in 2004 to sever himself from the Government.
Televangelist Bob Larson calls himself the “world’s foremost expert on cults, the occult and supernatural phenomena.” and has appeared on Oprah, Larry King Live, and CNN’s Anderson Cooper. But perhaps what will turn out to be his most infamous piece of work has been uploaded on Youtube and shows Larson trying to “exorcise” that dreaded demon of “gay” out of an unnamed man.
While “performing” the exorcism over a grunting, moaning, normal looking middle-age man, Larson commands, “I loose him from the curse of homosexuality…The worst thing in the world for a filthy stinking sex demon to say is ‘the holy spirit’ — they hate it.”
After the man is “freed” of the demon, the video cuts to Larson addressing the camera and stating, “I pray in the name of Jesus for those who may be battling sexual feelings of lust and pornography and lesbianism and homosexuality… Amen.” Viewers are then encouraged to call in and order a $59 three-video set to help them break “the six strongholds of Satan.”
The Lifetime Network will be presenting an 8 part weekly reality show called “The Real Exorcist” showcasing Larson starting Halloween night. Lifetime should be ashamed.

Mother Jones writer Adam Serwer has uncovered that the National Organization for Marriage that has made (at least) a $20,000 payment to notorious anti-gay rabble rouser “Bishop” Harry Jackson.
As internal documents released during Maine’s investigation into the group’s finances asserted, “The strategic goal is to drive a wedge between gays and blacks—two key Democratic constituencies. Find, equip, energize and connect African American spokespeople for marriage; develop a media campaign around their objections to gay marriage as a civil right; provoke the gay marriage base into responding by denouncing these spokesmen and women as bigots.” Jackson is exactly the kind of African American spokesperson the NOM memo envisions. “There’s been a hijacking of the civil rights movement by the radical gay movement,” he said on CNN after backing California’s Proposition 8 in 2008. “You can’t equate your sin with my skin.” He has received $20,000 from NOM’s education fund and has rallied support for same-sex marriage bans in Florida and Washington, DC, where he joined Councilmember Marion Barry to oppose a marriage equality bill in 2009
It also looks like Jackson is illegally soliciting tax-deductible donations and defrauding the government out of tax revenue by claiming his group is a 501c when it is not.
Jackson’s personal organization, the High Impact Leadership Coalition, are also murky. The group shares an address with Jackson’s church and spent $40,700 trying to defeat marriage equality in Washington DC. despite the fact that Jackson lives in Maryland. It describes itself as a nonprofit and solicits tax-deductible donations on its website. However, it is not listed in current IRS or charity databases, and its trade name registered with the state of Maryland lapsed in 2011. HILC’s name was originally registered by an organization headed by Jackson’s wife that lost its tax-exempt status after failing to file federal tax forms.

Just like Sean Hannitys’ “help the troops” charity. After the first class airfare and luxury hotel suites and first class meals are paid for and all the overhead is reimbursed then whatever is left over will go to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation in the end. I wonder how many of his lemmings realize that the money they donated to charity actually went to paying for Sarah Palin’s luxury suite?
