Donald Trump and the RNC Refund +$135 Million in Donations Over 2021 Donation Scam

Via The New York Times:

“The aggressive fund-raising tactics that former President Donald J. Trump deployed late in last year’s presidential campaign have continued to spur an avalanche of refunds into 2021, with Mr. Trump, the Republican Party and their shared accounts returning $12.8 million to donors in the first six months of the year, newly released federal records show.

The refunds were some of the biggest outlays that Mr. Trump made in 2021 as he has built up his $102 million political war chest — and amounted to roughly 20 percent of the $56 million he and his committees raised online so far this year. Trailing in the polls and facing a cash crunch last September,

Mr. Trump’s political operation began opting online donors into automatic recurring contributions by prechecking a box on its digital donation forms to take a withdrawal every week. Donors would have to notice the box and uncheck it to opt out of the donation. A second prechecked box took out another donation, known as a “money bomb.”

In the last year alone Trump and the RNC have been forced to refund over $135 million in donations received via the scam.

A sheep and his fleece are soon parted.

TENNESSEE: Anti-Gay Pastor Arrested On 8 Counts of Sexual Molestation of Minor Boys

TENNESSEE: Anti-Gay Pastor Arrested On 8 Counts of Sexual Molestation of Underage Boys

Nashville, Tennessee police have arrested a long-time anti-LGBT pastor who has been charged with eight counts of aggravated sexual battery for alleged molestation of multiple boys, WBRC News reported Friday.

Matthew Dennis Patterson, 45, who goes by Denny, resigned from Nolensville Road Baptist Church on September 24 and moved to Pennsylvania. Three days later, members of the congregation went to the police precinct with complaints about his requests to “engage in strange activities” with children, authorities said.

Children at the church told adult members that Patterson had asked them to sit on his face and stomach, sometimes in their underwear, according to a police statement.

After interviewing multiple church and staff members, police said the detectives identified multiple victims, most of them boys, who were molested from 1998-2017. Police did not say how old the children were at the time of the alleged abuse.

Patterson has been indicted on eight counts of aggravated sexual battery. Each count is linked to a different child, according to police.

Police said more charges relating to additional victims “are anticipated” as the investigation continues.

Patterson was a vocal opponent of anti-discrimination bills considered by the Nashville Metro Council in 2003. The measures were designed to protect jobs and housing for lesbian, gay and bisexual people.

“We want to make sure we keep the pressure on, let them know that anytime they bring this up, we’ll be down here to oppose it,” Patterson told The Tennessean in an article published Feb. 5, 2003.

Nashville police arrested Patterson in Pennsylvania on March 8 — he refused to talk to investigators. Patterson was extradited to Nashville on Friday, and his bond was set at $100,000.

Oregon Starts Legal Procedures To Get $135,000 Fine After Anti-Gay Bakers Refuse To Pay Damages

Sweet Cakes Refuses To Pay Fine

The Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries has decided to take legal action against the owners of Sweet Cakes by Melissa, the bakery that refused to serve a lesbian couple after its owners Aaron and Melissa Kline have refused to pay the $135,000 the court ordered them to pay for breaking Oregon’s business anti-discrimination law.

The Klein’s were ordered in July to pay the money to Rachel and Laurel Bowman-Cryer for the emotional, physical and psychological damages they caused the couple by refusing them service.

But the Klein’s who have raised almost $500,000.00 from begging on various websites and by touring with the anti-gau hate group the Family Research Council remain defiante and will not pay.

According to Aaron Kline:

“There’s legal reasons and there’s also kind of personal reasons. If a civil court or a circuit court judge had made this order, I would consider it legally binding. But when a bureaucracy does it and I didn’t get due process, I don’t call it legally binding.  A bond is going to cost roughly $7,000. That’s $7,000 I’m never going to get back, even if I won on appeal. Should I have to pay $7,000? I don’t think that’s fair.”

The Klein’s who began the process of appealing the July after a stay was denied say they plan on using the money from the “fundraisers” to pay their bills and “bless” others, instead of paying $135,000 fine.

The Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries began the legal process to seize the money from Aaron and Melissa Klein last week

Liberty Counsel Promo For FRC’s Values Voter Summit Leaves Out RICO Investigation For Kidnapping

Liberty Counsel

Well the Liberty Counsel has made a brand new info-promo for the Family Research Council’s 2014 Haterpalloza aka The Values Voter Summit which they brag about themselves and their standing up for “religious liberty” but somehow seem to miss mentioning thier involvement in a civil RICO lawsuit [PDF] against Kenneth Miller for helping ex-gay Lisa Miller kidnap her daughter from her ex-lesbian spouse and flee the country.

Via Right Ring Watch:

 41. Unbeknownst to Plaintiff Janet Jenkins, in 2009 Victoria Zodhiates (now Hyden) was an employee of Response Unlimited, Inc., and also a “student worker” at Liberty University School of Law. On information and belief, Victoria Zodhiates sent an email during this time period to her co-workers at the law school requesting donations for supplies to send to Lisa Miller to enable her to remain outside the country. Lisa Miller’s attorney, Matthew Staver was the Dean of the Law School and Ms. Zodhiates’s boss. Matthew Staver and Philip Zodhiates were also personal acquaintances at this time. On September 20, 2009, both Philip Zodhiates and Victoria Hyden called Lisa Miller’s father, Terry Miller in Tennessee to assist in arranging her and Isabella’s transportation from a Walmart parking lot in Lynchburg, Virginia, to Waynesboro, Virginia, from whence they would depart for Canada and Nicaragua the next day.

42. In early November, 2009, elders of the Thomas Road Baptist Church packed up the personal belongings of Lisa Miller in two bags. These bags were picked up from Lynchburg, Virginia by Philip Zodhiates who arranged to have the bags transported to Nicaragua by sending them with his son’s school teacher who was taking some children on a mission trip to Managua. Philip Zodhiates arranged for the teacher, John Collmus, to deliver the bags at the airport to Timothy Miller. The bags also contained some supplies for Lisa Miller, such as peanut butter.

47. Lisa Miller’s attorneys Mathew Staver and Rena Lindevaldsen also routinely instructed their Law School students that the correct course of action for a person in Lisa Miller’s situation would be to engage in “civil disobedience” and defy court orders.

48. Also in 2009, TRBC Head Pastor Jonathan Falwell was among several religious leaders who made a call for “Christian civil disobedience” and published a public declaration, known as The Manhattan Declaration stating that they:

“will not comply with any edict that purports to compel our institutions to participate in abortions, embryo-destructive research, assisted suicide and euthanasia, or any other anti-life act; nor will we bend to any rule purporting to force us to bless immoral sexual partnerships, treat them as marriages or the equivalent, or refrain from proclaiming the truth, as we know it, about morality and immorality and marriage and the family.”

49. Hence, Defendants TRBC and its related ministry Liberty University School of Law encouraged its agents to disregard state laws governing parental rights, particularly Vermont’s law giving rights to members of same-sex families. The TRBC and Liberty University School of Law through its public declaration promoted, condoned and explicitly ratified its agent’s tortious, racketeering activity. These agents and employees have followed this direction, making TRBC and Liberty University School of Law liable in respondeat superior for the consequences.

57. At the trial of Kenneth Miller in August 2012, a number of Lisa Miller’s friends and supporters testified, including Defendant Wright, and several members of the PIC. When asked if any of them had met or heard of Philip Zodhiates, the answer was no. At the trial, the government introduced phone records that showed phone calls made from Philip Zodhiates’s cell phone between 1:28pm and 1:30pm on September 22, 2009, to a cell phone with an Orlando area code that is registered to Liberty Counsel, a landline registered to Liberty Counsel, and a landline registered to Liberty University School of Law. Mathew Staver, Dean of the Liberty University School of Law, splits his time between Lynchburg, Virginia and Orlando, Florida. At the time that the calls were made, Philip Zodhiates was still en route back to Virginia after depositing Lisa Miller and Isabella near the Canadian border.

58. Lisa Miller’s attorneys, Matthew Staver and Rena Lindevaldsen have at all times maintained that they did not know their client’s location to various courts in Vermont (including in sworn testimony of Rena Lindevaldsen) and Virginia, and to the press that she simply stopped communicating with them and disappeared.

59. Meanwhile, Matthew Staver’s acquaintance, Philip Zodhiates, and his daughter Victoria, an assistant in the Law School knew of Lisa Miller’s whereabouts and solicited donations from other Law School employees for her aid. Upon information and belief, other law school employees who spoke to Victoria about Lisa Miller’s whereabouts were too intimidated to come forward to law enforcement for fear of angering Dean Staver and losing their jobs. During the time that Lisa and Isabella were missing, Dean Staver fired several members of the admissions and financial aid department who were under his supervision. To this day, Victoria Hyden is still an employee of the law school, even though her tortious conduct involving Isabella Miller-Jenkins has been in public court records for over a year. Also, while Lisa Miller and Isabella were missing, Lisa Miller’s attorneys continued to press appeals on Lisa Miller’s behalf until the last appeals were exhausted in November 2010 (more than a year after she was missing), stating that they had advance instructions from Lisa Miller as to her wishes for the ongoing litigation.

62. Based on the foregoing, all of the Defendants named herein, in both their individual capacities and as agents of TRBC, Liberty University Law School, Response Unlimited, Inc., and CAM are liable for conspiring with Lisa Miller and with each other to kidnap Isabella Miller-Jenkins, assure her continued detention outside the State of Vermont, and for conspiring with Kenneth Miller to participate in the affairs of the Beachy Amish-Mennonite Brotherhood through a pattern of racketeering activity .. Defendants are also liable for conspiring to violate Janet Jenkins’ and Isabella Miller-Jenkins’ rights to a parent-child relationship on account oflsabella having two mothers instead of a mother and a father, and Defendant Wright is liable under 42 U.S.C. 1986 for failing to prevent the violation of Plaintiffs’ civil rights.

Liberty Counsel’s Matt Barber: Call the FBI On President Obama, the SLPC and the Gays!

Fat Matt Barber Liberty Counsel

“Everyone at FRC is hateful. In fact, if you happen to be a Bible-believing Christian, you too are hateful. You get the drill. The Obama administration has absolutely no business partnering with this extremist organization – and it’s an outrage that it does. If this troubles you as much as it does me, please contact the FBI at (202) 324-3000 and respectfully voice your concern. Then call or email your local FBI office. It’s critical that freedom-loving Americans light-up the FBI’s phone lines and demand that all facets of government completely disassociate from the SPLC and disavow any further use of its anti-Christian propaganda. The Southern Poverty Law Center must be held accountable for its inflammatory and potentially deadly anti-Christian bigotry.” – Failed boxer, failed insurance agent and current hate group leader at the Liberty Counsel Matt “I’m fucking desperate” Barber, writing for World Net Daily.

Someone should tell Matt Barber that crank calling the FBI is a federal crime.  But then again so is kidnapping and that didn’t stop the Liberty Counsel from helping in the kidnapping of 9 year old Isabella Miller from her lesbian mother in 2011.

House GOP Votes To Cut $40 Billion From Food Stamps After Spending $823 Billion On WAR

GOP SCUM

Heartless House Republicans and Tea Party members yesterday voted to cut nearly $4 billion a year from food stamps allowing states to put broad new work requirements in place for many food stamp recipients and to test applicants for drugs.

The vote was 217 to 210, largely along party lines.

Republican leaders, under pressure from Tea Party-backed conservatives, said the bill was needed because the food stamp program, which costs nearly $80 billion a year, had grown out of control.

But while Washington Republicans and Tea Party politicians try to take food out of the mouth of America’s poor they are turning a blind eye to bloated and corrupted items such as the Farm  Bill and the current cost to the United States for its recent never-ending wars.

Historically, the food stamp program has been part of the Farm Bill, a huge piece of legislation that had routinely been passed every five years, authorizing financing for the nation’s farm and nutrition programs. Separating Food Stamps from the Farm Bill saved it from cuts which would have affected some Washington GOP politicians  including Vicky Hartzler of Missouri, Michele Bachmann of Minnesota,  and South Dakota Republican Kristi Noem who receive millions of dollars a year in subsidies despite their enormous net worth’s.

And lets not forget that direct federal spending on the war through 2012 will reach $823 billion, surpassing the $738 billion in inflation-adjusted dollars the U.S. spent on the Vietnam War, the Congressional Research Service estimated in a March 29 report. Only World War II had a higher direct cost, $4.1 trillion, in current dollars. Much of that money going into the pockets of the the GOP backed war machine which in turn kicks back and supports the Republican and Tea Party.

Once again the Republican Party and the newly formed Tea Party attack the poor viciously for pennies while pocketing millions, and perhaps billions of dollars.

This has got to stop.

Interim ‘Pope’ Tarcisio Bertone Blamed Gays For Pedophile Priest Sex Scandal

Betrone gay hate

Italy’s Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone who will take over for Pope Benedict XVI until the conclave of cardinals  pick a new Führer leader for the Catholic church in the past has blamed the church’s worldwide massive  pedophilia on the ‘homosexual infiltration’ of the Catholic priesthood.

In Chile in 2010, Bertone said: ‘Many psychologists and psychiatrists have shown that there is no link between celibacy and pedophilia but many others have shown, I have recently been told, that there is a relationship between homosexuality and pedophilia.”

‘This pathology is one that touches all categories of people, and priests to a lesser degree in percentage terms.

‘The behaviour of the priests in this case, the negative behaviour, is very serious, is scandalous.’

One of Pope Benedict’s potential successor is  Ghana’s Cardinal Peter Turkson, who has not only blamed  the church’s pedophilia scandal on gays but has also publicly  defended Uganda’s “Kill The Gays” laws in Africa.

Holier Than Thou Family Research Council Hate Group Sued For Sexual Harrasment

Well, well, well……..

A former employee is suing the anti-gay hate group the Family Research Council for sexual harassment, citing the sexually suggestive comments of her supervisor.

Moira Gaul worked as director of women’s and reproductive health for the FRC that claims to represent “traditional family values.”  Gaul’s “expertise” is in abstinence-only education. But even in the “socially conservative” organization, the anti-woman sexual rhetoric of her supervisor proved too much for her:

According to court documents first obtained and reported by journalist Evan Gahr, former FRC employee Moira Gaul, 42, filed a complaint in 2009 with the District of Columbia Human Rights Commission in which she accused her supervisor of gender discrimination. She claimed that her boss, the director of the Center for Human Life and Bioethics at the time, referred to the use of birth control pills as “whoring around,” addressed emails to her with the words “hi cutie,” pressured her to attend parties, and referred to her as a “young, attractive woman.”

“His attitude toward me and other women was rude, belittling, and at times, angry,” she wrote in the complaint.

Gaul’s former supervisor and the man charged with the sexual harassment  is prominent anti-abortion lawyer William Saunders, who now works at the anti-abortion group Americans United for Life.

Huffington Post reports that the suit was originally settled back in 2009, FRC fired Gaul shortly after she filed the complaint, citing a loss in federal funding for abstinence — Gaul’s area of expertise — and the need for someone with more experience on abortion issues. Gaul claims the FRC also retroactively canceled her health insurance for the time that she was on short-term disability for systemic lupus.

While the original sexual harassment complaint was settled in July 2009, but Gaul and her attorney, Shannon Stokes, are currently suing the FRC for illegally retaliating against her. The suit claims that Gaul had received excellent reviews and no reprimands at the FRC up until she filed the gender discrimination complaint then the FRC fired her and retroactively canceled her health insurance for the time that she was on short-term disability for systemic lupus.

I’m just gonna reach over here and turn on this Sarcasm sign real quick.

Whaaaaaat? This is unheard of! I’ve never heard of anyone ultra-Christian, ultra-Conservative, or both getting into anything even REMOTELY resembling a sexual harassment scandal.

But honestly, It’s hard to sympathise with anyone who works for these sort of people.  Of course they are going to be misogynistic, dishonest and vindictive.  This is the sharp end of the radical right, where they wear the clothes of God to conceal the darkness in their hearts.  Five minutes in the place and she must have known what sort of people they were.

Lie down with dogs, you get up with fleas baby.. But I do wish you luck in your lawsuit even though I have no pity for you just so you can bankrupt the bastards and take them for all they are worth.

CAUGHT RED HANDED! – Oregon Election Worker Fired After Changing DEM Votes To GOP

An Oregon election worker has been fired and is under criminal investigation for changing ballots cast for Democrats to Republicans, according to The Raw Story.

Clackamas County, Ore. spokesman Tim Heider said in a press release  that Deanna Swenson, was “relieved of duty immediately after the alleged ballot tampering was discovered.”

Sources familiar with the incident say their understanding is that the Swenson filled in a straight Republican ticket on the ballots where preferences had been left blank by voters.

Swenson tearfully insisted that it was “only the two” ballots that she had altered.

ADF insists that it’s not a law firm and is instead a ministry, which means it won’t hire anyone who is not Christian. It was founded by conservative radio pastor and Focus on the Family founder James Dobson in 1994.

ADF was the major legal arm of the Prop. 8 campaign and defended the measure in court.

Of course Pugno was not available for comment.
