“Now people that are asymptomatic — you might have heard this, asymptomatic transmission, people that don’t have the symptoms — they aren’t contagious.
“If people are asymptomatic, they don’t have the cough, they don’t have the respiratory issues, they don’t have a fever, they’re not contagious. And so they don’t need to be tested.
“The good news is that we may have found the silver bullet to stop the coronavirus. It’s a cheap generic antimalarial medication. This thing has been around since 1944. It’s chloroquine phosphate. That’s what it’s called.
“If we can get this into the hands of assisted living facilities, they can inoculate their entire roster of patients with chloroquine. And it’s preventive. It’s prophylactic. It keeps you from getting coronavirus, and if you’ve got it, it cures it.” – American Family Association radio host Bryan Fischer.
Monica Cole, head of Three Old Biddies and a Computer aka One Million Moms, is all verklempt over the fact that the Boy Scouts of America have officially relaxed their rules against gay adult Scout Masters.
“As 1MM predicted, the Boy Scouts of America has dropped its ban on homosexual adult leaders. This means men who are attracted to males are now welcome on campouts in intimate proximity to boys. Last week, the BSA’s National Executive Board approved the new policy on a 45-12 vote. This follows a vote just two years ago to allow homosexual boys to join the ranks. The BSA has made its decision; now make yours by taking these immediate actions: 1. If you are in scouting, or have a son or grandson in scouting, show your convictions by resigning from the organization. Your dropped membership will send a strong message that your values are steadfast, faithful and unchangeable. 2. If your church charters a scouting unit, contact the pastor and scouting committee members. Urge the church to drop the charter based on the truth of God’s word and Christian values. 3. Find an alternative to the BSA. 1MM strongly recommends the Christian-based Trail Life USA program.”
Yes the “Christian-based Trail Life USA program”. You know the one that uses Sieg Heil as a salute.
Meanwhile the Mormon Church whose LDS chapters comprise about 15% of the BSA’s total membership has it’s magic undies in a bundle and has issued a press release in which they threaten to end their relationship with the Boy Scouts over the end of the ban on openly gay leaders even though the BSA put in a religious exemption that would still allow religious sponsored troops to discriminate against gays.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is deeply troubled by today’s vote by the Boy Scouts of America National Executive Board. In spite of a request to delay the vote, it was scheduled at a time in July when members of the Church’s governing councils are out of their offices and do not meet. When the leadership of the Church resumes its regular schedule of meetings in August, the century-long association with Scouting will need to be examined. The Church has always welcomed all boys to its Scouting units regardless of sexual orientation. However, the admission of openly gay leaders is inconsistent with the doctrines of the Church and what have traditionally been the values of the Boy Scouts of America. As a global organization with members in 170 countries, the Church has long been evaluating the limitations that fully one-half of its youth face where Scouting is not available. Those worldwide needs combined with this vote by the BSA National Executive Board will be carefully reviewed by the leaders of the Church in the weeks ahead.
Quite a tantrum from a group that has just been given the go ahead to continue discrimination. And thats mostly because if they have to do it by themselves, alone, everyone will see. They can’t be satisfied unless discrimination is universal and they can hide among all the other bigots.
Now that Brian Brown leader of the hate group the National Organization for Marriage has lost the battle he has dropped the false pretext that NOM’s cause was only about the “sanctity of marriage” and is now letting his full anti-gay hate spew forth.
Brian it seems is very upset at the prospects of LGBT Americans being granted the same protections that “religion” has enjoyed by being included in the 1964 Civil Rights Act. and still has the nerve to lie and call it “special rights”
“Sponsored by the grossly-misnamed Human Rights Campaign special interest group, HR 3185 is breathtaking in its scope. It would allow gay and lesbian activists to persecute Americans in virtually every area of society — in employment, public accommodations, housing, credit, and a dozen other areas of civil life. Wherever federal law prohibits racial discrimination, it would also prohibit ‘discrimination’ based on ‘sexual orientation and gender identity.’ The legislation puts in the crosshairs anyone who believes God created people male and female. It would declare that a traditional view of human sexuality is hateful and bigoted and treat Christians, Jews and other people of faith just as the law treats racists. HR 3185 specifically denies someone who has been targeted the ability to rely on the provisions of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act as a defense against the complaint of discrimination.
“Please act today to help us defeat HR 3185. Click here to send a message to your federal representatives asking them to vote against this dangerous proposal that will result in rampant persecution of Americans in virtually every area of civil life. It is imperative that members of Congress hear immediately that the American people will not tolerate the creation of powerful special rights for one segment of society, and allow them to use the power of the federal government to persecute anyone who disagrees with them.”
It must be a terrible thing to have an anus where a mouth should be.
Scott Lively’s Crimes Against Humanity trial finally began today in Massachusetts the anti-gay legal hate group the Liberty Counsel, who is defending him is demanding more information about the plaintiffs, Sexual Minorities Uganda (SMUG).
Lively himself didn’t even bother showing up for the trial.
Lively is being represented by the Liberty Counsel, based in Orlando, Florida, which bills itself on its website as “an international nonprofit litigation, education, and policy organization dedicated to advancing religious freedom, the sanctity of life, and the family.” It has provided pro bono legal assistance on these and related topics since 1989. Attorney Roger Gannam on Tuesday argued that lawyers for the plaintiffs were being so surreptitious in turning over documents – already subject to an “attorney’s eyes only” restriction – that it was hindering Lively’s ability to wage an effective defense.
“Scott Lively has no desire for the information except for this lawsuit,” Gannam argued to U.S. Magistrate Judge Katherine Robertson. “SMUG has not proved that it’s reliable in deciding what Scott Lively should see and shouldn’t see.” In particular, the lawyer cited an email relating to a SMUG fund-raiser geared toward paying fees in the Lively case, which he said was so heavily redacted even the subject line was blacked out. Gannam also referred to images the plaintiffs have withheld of participants at the 2009 workshop in Uganda, which he argued Lively couldn’t confirm were there if he can’t see their faces. Gannam also suggested the plaintiffs’ representation of the significance of the 2009 workshop in Uganda was overstated.
So in a nutshell. Lively’s and his lawyers want identifying info on lots of LGBT Ugandans, so they can use it to intimidate them with that implicit threat so they back down And in an even worse senario forward it to Africa where they can be arrested or killed.
Not only should Scott Lively be found guilty but a lawsuit should be brought against Rick Warren, who helped spread the hatred overseas as well.
“The shocking, unethical leak of a private, legally protected counseling document by a politically motivated law enforcement official. Media – time to go after her or him for illegalities and for destroying the public’s trust in law enforcement. The media’s hell-bent mission to go after the entire Duggar family for one member’s wrongdoing, while giving a total pass to perverted actions of someone like Lena Dunham – or any other leftwinger celeb caught doing awful things. Remember reports of the pedophile billionaire our former democrat president has been friends with and hung out with on the pedophiles ‘orgy island’ full of underage girls? Such obvious double standards applied to equally relevant stories underestimates the wisdom of the public, discredit the press, and spits on the graves of every American who fought and died for the press’s freedom. I hate for anyone to go through this game liberals are allowed to play, relentlessly attacking on an uneven playing field until a conservative’s career, relationships, and reputation are destroyed.” – Michelle Duggar’s mentor in “mothering” Sarah Palin on her Facebook page
Would anyone like some whine and vinegar with my word salad?
Just before he challenged Indiana Governor Mike Pence (R) to come on the show and defend his bill, New Day host Chris Cuomo battled it out with Peter Sprigg of the right-wing Media Research Council over Indiana’s new “religious liberty” bill, which both supporters and detractors say would allow businesses to claim a religious exemption to deny service to gays and lesbians.
“There is a picture that’s circulating around of the governor as he signed [the bill],” Cuomo said. “Several of the people in the picture are outspoken critics of gay existence. Now, that’s not a coincidence. It’s not a coincidence why you’re against it. Let me ask you, why do so many Christians these days believe that the exercise of their faith requires exclusion and judgment of others?”
“Some people have a sincere, conscientious belief that marriage is defined as the union between a man and a woman,” Sprigg replied. “In fact the majority of Americans believe that.”
“Popularity is not the ultimate arbiter of what is right and wrong if protecting rights under the Constitution,” Cuomo said. “The question then goes to: why do you need this? What is it about someone being gay or someone wanting to marry someone of the same sex — what is there in that that is keeping you from being the Christian you want to be?…If I said, Mr. Sprigg, you must go marry a man right now, you can say, no, that’s a violation of my faith. Maybe that, you would be able clear this burden. But how is wanting to judge others somehow stopping you from practicing your faith?”

Fox News president Roger Ailes announced yesterday the hiring of viciously anti-gay activist Alveda King.
Alveda King has besmirched her uncles great name for decades by using it for right-wing extremist causes and she herself is viciously anti-gay.
“Alveda has brilliantly carried the legacy of the King family to the next generation and has been a source of inspiration for many Americans,” Ailes said in making the announcement. “Her passion and mission for social change will be a valuable contribution to our network.” King is a prominent anti-abortion activist and serves as director of African-American outreach at Priests for Life. She has also courted controversy by speaking out against LGBT rights, proclaiming in 1998 that “God hates homosexuality” and comparing gay marriage to genocide in a 2010 speech.
Alveda who has been cashing in for years on her uncles last name is severely homophobic and bigoted “christian” who has cast her lot with the extreme right GOP and use her uncles name to earn money to push their her anti-gay agenda.
In May of 2012 Alveda “denounced” the NAACP for deciding to support same sex marriage and at the same time attacked Bayard Rustin, Martin Luther King, Jr.’s right hand man and friend who helped to organize the Southern Christian Leadership Conference to strengthen King’s leadership by lying about their professional relationship
The 21st century homosexual lobby likes to point to the professional relationship between my uncle Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Bayard Rustin, his openly homosexual staffer who left the movement at the height of the campaign. Rustin attempted to convince Uncle M. L. that homosexual rights were equal with civil rights. Uncle M. L. did not agree, and would not attach the homosexual agenda to the 20th century civil rights struggles. So Mr. Rustin resigned. He was a brilliant strategist and was hired by Uncle M. L. not because he was gay, but because he was a capable strategist. He also was not fired, he chose to resign. My uncle was not a bigot, and he didn’t judge people for the color of their skin nor their sexual orientation. Neither do I. As compassionate Christians who won’t be forced to sit on the back of the bus as far as our spiritual commitments are concerned, we can be compassionate without endorsing sin.” – Alveda King
Leave it to FOX News to hire another disgusting pig for their God awful poke.
The Liberty Counsel’s own Matt “Bam-Bam” Barber went on a bit of a tangent (again) the other day speaking on the L.C. radio propaganda-gram over the crushing consequences that will happen if the Supreme Court comes out with a pro-same sex marriage verdict.
“If, God forbid, the Supreme Court somehow defines and manufactures a constitutional so-called right to sodomy-based marriage this summer, in June, if they do that then the floodgates will be open. There will be Christian persecution widespread across the United States and the so-called gay marriage agenda will be the sledgehammer used to crush the church and to crush religious liberty and the crush individual Christians, their finances, to ruin them. That’s what this agenda was always about and that’s what we will see if the Supreme Court goes the wrong way in June.” – Matt Barber
Bam-Bam it seems is not taking any chances on his finances being “crushed”and often sends out an email blast to promote his own line of right-wing “loving Christian” swag products.
Recently Barber pitched a t-shirt: “A humorous Second Amendment twist on ‘Smile, wait for flash’ phrase commonly used when taking photos. A great way to bring a smile to people’s face, or to warn criminals what’s waiting for them if they mess with you. Printed on the front of a gray shirt.”
By the way Barber has twice published columns from anti-gay advocates pushing for the gay death penalty.
Making a career out of their anti-gay “Christian” stance. Smacked down and never-were HGTV wannabees Jason and David Benham talked about they, with the help of a pair of Chicago Cubs baseball tickets turned a gay man straight during during their National Religious Broadcasters convention speech
“We had so many people from the gay community reaching out to us and one man in particular from the city of Chicago reached out — and he said things to me that made me lose my appetite. But I simply responded in love.”
“After a little conversation back and forth, I found out he loved baseball … and I got him tickets to a Cubs game. He shot me a Facebook post and said, ‘I was not expecting that — and I’ve been thinking a lot about this. I’ve chosen to walk away from my lifestyle.’”
See that. One night with the Benham boys is enough to turn a gay man straight. But not for the reasons that they are stating.
NOTE: In two days the Benham Boys will be holding a hate rally in the city of Charlotte, North Carolina protesting against a proposed LGBT rights ordinance.
“It might not be home to the Alamo, but the call to Remember Houston is fueling conservatives across the country to stop the attack on the freedom of belief through special gender identity bills. In Arkansas, state leaders made it clear that local governments, like Fayetteville, couldn’t adopt these onerous special rights measure that trample freedom and drive away business. The measures have become a privacy and safety nightmare for parents, who shudder to think of their daughters sharing public restrooms, showers, and locker rooms with grown men who abuse the ‘gender identity’ language to prey on the opposite sex. Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R) has already said that he’ll let the bill become law, which gives conservatives — not just a victory, but a roadmap for other states to do the same. Our hats go off to Arkansas leaders for paving the way in the fight to uphold the freedom of every American, regardless of their religious views.” – Family Research Council hate group leader Tony Perkins, praising the Arkansas bill that bans any municipality from enacting LGBT rights ordinances.
Someone needs to remind Herr Perkins that while they held out for awhile The Alamo was lost and a massacre in the end.
