Cory Booker, Kamala Harris, and Bernie Sanders Campaigned at Las Vegas Anti-Gay Church

Cory Booker, Kamala Harris, and Bernie Sanders Campaigned at Las Vegas Anti-Gay Church

Democratic presidential candidates Sen. Kamala Harris, Sen. Cory Booker, and Bernie Sanders attended services and campaigned at an anti-LGBT Las Vegas Baptist church led by a pastor preaches “homosexuality is a sin and is “enough to send you to hell.”

Harris spoke at Las Vegas’ Victory Missionary Baptist Church on Sunday morning while Booker spoke on Saturday night while Sen. Bernie Sanders  held a town hall at the church last month.

The Mercury News reported that Rev. Robert E. Fowler Sr.’s and the church’s stand on homosexuality is well known and easily searchable. The Las Vegas Review-Journal covered the provocative pastor in 2017 and Fowler himself spoke publicly about the subject long before that.

In a 2013 interview Fowler stated: [W]hether you commit adultery, whether you commit fornication, whether you’re a child molester, you gossip, you lie, you cheat on your taxes, you don’t pay your tithes, things of that nature — all of that is wrapped together as sin, along with homosexuality.”

So far only Harris’ campaign has released a statement saying that the California lawmaker’s “support and advocacy for LGBTQ equality has been unwavering throughout her career. She will continue to visit houses of worship across the country to address congregants about the pressing issues we face as a nation.”

Cory Booker Announces 2020 Presidential Bid

Cory Booker Announces 2020 Presidential Bid

CBS News

New Jersey Senator Cory Booker is joining the 2020 Democratic presidential contest, announcing his campaign on Friday with a tweet and an emailed video to supporters.

“We are better when we help each other,” he said. “I believe that we can build a country where no one is forgotten, no one is left behind; where parents can put food on the table; where there are good paying jobs with good benefits in every neighborhood; where our criminal justice system keeps us safe, instead of shuffling more children into cages and coffins; where we see the faces of our leaders on television and feel pride, not shame.”

Booker is the second African American candidate to join the fray, following California Sen. Kamala Harris’ entry last week, on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Booker’s announcement also carries symbolism, coming on the first day of Black History Month. Booker, who speaks fluent Spanish, plans to call into radio stations with black and Latino audiences Friday morning to discuss his campaign.

Booker who has mixed reviews mostly because of his ties to Big Pharma in December of 2018 amidst much speculation came out as “straight”.

Cory Booker Confirms He Might Run For President In 2020

Via The North Jersey Advance:

U.S. Sen. Cory Booker just visited 24 — count ’em, 24 — states stumping for Democrats in the midterm elections. He contributed $686,000 to House and Senate candidates across the nation. And along the way, New Jersey’s dynamic Democrat stopped in all those early presidential primary states, plus a few that look to be big battlegrounds.

A dry run for a potential 2020 bid? Even Booker wouldn’t quarrel with that. “I will consider running for president,” Booker told NJ Advance Media. “That’s something that I will do. There’s people in New Jersey who are talking to me about it, across the country that are talking to me about it, so I will consider that.

I say go for it Cory. If people think Beto should run why not Cory? He has more experience and hes not that hard on the eyes. Like France and Canada it would be nice to have a “fuckable” President.

11th. Bomb Found Addressed To Sen. Cory Booker

ABC News:

Multiple sources tell ABC News that authorities have now recovered an 11th package as part of the widening investigation into suspected bombs. Sources said the package was recovered at or near Opa-locka, Florida, and it was addressed to Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey.

The postal facility in Opa-locka has emerged as a focal point for investigators trying to track down the sender of the suspected mail bombs, law enforcement sources familiar with the investigation told ABC News.

It’s one of the postal centers the packages may have moved through and the Miami-Dade police bomb squad swept the facility at the request of the FBI as a precautionary measure.

Also a 12th bomb found in NYC addressed to retired lieutenant general in the United States Air Force and former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper an open critic of Donald Trump.

This is nothing short of domestic terrorism by followers of the Republican party and Donald Trump.

The GOP Is Trying To Set-Up Cory Booker On A Gay #MeToo Assault

The GOP Is Trying To Set-Up Cory Booker On A Gay #MeToo Assault

An anonymous Twitter user has accused New Jersey Senator, Cory Booker. of an alleged gay #MeToo sexual assault that took place in a bathroom years ago and his “story” is beginning to make the rounds of the extreme right-wing-nut websites.

The alleged “gay man” who wants to remain anonymous of course describes himself as a “liberal Democrat” and accuses Booker of sexually assaulting him in 2014.

The supposed “victim” penned a lengthy open letter that was posted on Twitter. (On a newly created account for this accusation named @TheeDeepThroat) in which he  describes the assault that occurred in a bathroom following a meeting at his workplace, in Washington, DC where the two met.

I stopped to use one of the building’s single-occupancy restrooms. Upon washing my hands prior to leaving, I hear knocking on the door. When it comes to these restrooms, it is customary to knock first in case someone is using it, even though there is an inner lock. When I opened the door, Mr. Booker was there. He smiled and very gregariously said, “Hey!” We engaged in some brief idle chitchat in the entryway and then he asked me to speak in private. What happened next, happened so fast that it was hard for me to comprehend what was going on. It was one of those surreal moments where what was happening was such a deviation and such a perversion of one’s natural daily routine that I hardly knew how to react. He pulled me into the bathroom, albeit not too forcefully, and slowly pushed me against the restroom wall. He said that “Being a hero was a serious turn-on.” He continued, “The Senate appreciates fine citizens like you. Especially this senator.” He then put his left hand on my groin, over my jeans, and began to rub. I seem to remember saying something like “What is happening?” It was a bit like having vertigo. He then used his other hand to grab my left hand with his right and pulled it over to touch him. At the same time, he disengaged from rubbing me and used his left hand to push me to my knees from my shoulder for what was clearly a move to have me perform oral sex on him. At that point, I pulled away quite violently and told him I had to go. I did not see him again before he left.

The victim then claims he hired a lawyer by the name of Harmeet Dhillon of the Dhillon Law Group, who of course is also a member of the Republican National Committee.

The man also claims that had reached out to Rowan Farrow on Oct. 7 but did not hear back from the reporter for four days. He said he responded to Farrow with availability between Oct. 12 – 15 for an interview but did not hear back from the reporter Oct. 20, the day he published his his accusation on Twitter.

Co-incidentally this happens at a time when Booker is considered a leading contender for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020.

Sure sounds like a set-up to me.

Cory Booker Releases Kavanaugh “Confidential Committee” Documents. Tells GOP to “Bring It” – VIDEO

Sen. Cory Booker, said Thursday that he was ready to risk expulsion from the Senate to expose the “sham” of confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

Booker, backed up by Democratic Sen. Mazie Hirono of Hawaii, released emails — designated by the Judiciary Committee as “confidential” — that reference Kavanaugh’s position on racial profiling and thoughts on Roe v. Wade dating from his time as a White House official under President George W. Bush.

“I understand the penalty comes with potential ousting from the Senate. … I openly invite and accept the consequences of my team releasing that email right now. Bring it.” Booker said.

Later in the meeting all the Democrats on the committee supported Booker’s decision and invited any retaliation the GOP could bring forth in the Senate.

Blowhard GOP Sen. John Cornyn said before Booker released the documents that if he went ahead, he would be committing an offense that would be tantamount to releasing classified information.

“Running for president is not an excuse for violating the rules of the Senate,” the Texas Republican told Booker. “No senator deserves to sit on this committee, or serve in the Senate in my view, if they decide to be a law unto themselves and willingly flout the rules of the Senate.”

Booker said he doubted Cornyn would follow through on his threats.

“I think he’s like a lot of bullies are: a lot of talk no action.”

Cory Booker Goes After Mike Pompeo During Confirmation Hearing, Asks If He Believes: “Is being gay a perversion?”

Cory Booker Goes After Mike Pompeo During Confirmation Hearing, Asks If He Believes: “Is being gay a perversion?”

In 2015 after the Supreme Court legalized same-sex marriage, Mike Pompeo, the president’s nominee to head the State Department, called the decision “wrong” and “a shocking abuse of power.”

In a statement condemning the decision at that time, the then-Kansas congressman said:

“I am deeply saddened by the Supreme Court’s ruling that imposes legalized gay marriage on the 70 percent of Kansans who voted to honor and protect the traditional definition of marriage as the union between one man and one woman. It is a shocking abuse of power. It is wrong. I will continue to fight to protect our most sacred institutions.”

During  Pompeo’s, Senate confirmation hearing for secretary of state Thursday, Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) pushed Pompeo on his previous comments, particularly his suggestion that homosexuality was a “perversion.”

Booker: “Is being gay a perversion?”

Pompeo: “Senator, when I was a politician, I had a very clear view on whether it was appropriate for two same-sex persons to marry. I stand by that.”

Booker: “So, you do not believe that it’s appropriate for two gay people to marry?”

Pompeo: “Senator, I continue to hold that view.”

Booker went on to remind Pompeo that as secretary of state, he would be representing the U.S. internationally in countries where gay people are persecuted for their sexual orientation.

In 2015, Pompeo former congressman cited a prayer previously delivered before the Kansas State Legislature at a God and Country Rally at an evangelical church in Kansas .

“America had worshiped other Gods and called it multiculturalism. We’d endorsed perversion and called it an alternative lifestyle,” Pompeo said.

Republicans, of course have largely praised Pompeo, whose nomination is on track to end up before the full Senate by the end of the month, according to Foreign Relations Chairman Bob Corker (R-Tenn.)

Will he get the position?

Pompeo’s performance seemed to please Republicans on the panel, but with the defection of Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) who surprisingly strongly opposes Pompero and with Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) home receiving treatment for cancer, he will need support from Democrats to win confirmation which should be a hard task. No Democrats on the panel have so far offered their support.

Puff, Puff, Pass: Senator Cory Booker To Introduce Bill To Legalize Marijuana

Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) is introducing legislation to end the federal prohibition on water pipes wholesale price for marijuana and encourage states to legalize pot. The legislation, which Booker will formally roll out later Tuesday during a Facebook event, would amend the Controlled Substance Act to eliminate marijuana’s status as a Schedule 1 drug—a move that would decriminalize marijuana at the federal level.

It would also try to incentivize states to legalize marijuana if their current laws have a “disproportionate arrest rate” on minority or low-income individuals. Booker’s legislation would also be retroactive and require federal courts to expunge previous marijuana-related convictions. Individuals still in jail could petition to get their sentence shortened to comply with Booker’s bill. The Hill

Booker’s legislation would also be retroactive and require federal courts to expunge previous marijuana-related convictions. Individuals still in jail could petition to get their sentence shortened to comply with Booker’s bill.

Booker’s bill is probably all just an Acrylic Pipes dream and has little to no chance of passing.  Earlier this year Attorney General Jeff Sessions wrote to lawmakers  asking them not to block the Department of Justice from using funds to enforce federal marijuana laws.

Cory Booker Takes On Religious Extremist Heckler At NJ Gay Marriage Ceremony – VIDEO

Cory booker

The current Mayor of Newark N.J. before he moves to Washington, D.C. to join Congress, Cory (Superman) Booker last night. married Orville Bell and Joseph Panessidi, Booker and asked, “I must ask if there’s anyone present here today that should know of any reason why Joseph and Orville should not be married, speak now or forever hold your peace.”

Screamed a heckler. “This is unlawful in the eyes of God!”

Booker then had the heckler removed, and continued to cheers…

“Not hearing any substantive, worthy objections, I now will proceed.”

This was the first marriage as Mayor that Cory Booker had performed previously refusing to marry anyone until same sex marriage was legal in New Jersey

Marry ME Cory Booker. No I mean really. MARRY ME.

Cory Booker Wins US Senate Seat! Sarah Palin Queefs

Cory booker

Last night while all eyes were turned on Washington and the end of the Great GOP Government Shtutdown Fiasco of 2013,  New Jersey’s own Superman Cory Booker in a landslide victory won the N.J. state senate seat which became vacant when Sen. Frank Lautenberg, died in June against the GOP, NOM and Tea Party backed Steve Lonegan

The Washington Post reports:

When Booker is sworn in, the Democratic Caucus will once again hold a 55-45 advantage over the GOP Conference. Booker will fill the seat once held by Frank Lautenberg, a long-serving Democratic senator who died in June. Gov. Chris Christie appointed fellow Republican Jeff Chiesa to be Lautenberg’s interim replacement.

Booker, 44, will become the chamber’s second African American member along with Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.). The Democrat will enter the Senate having already achieved celebrity status. A regular on cable news programs and Sunday morning news shows with more than 1.4 million followers on Twitter, Booker has cultivated a profile that extends well beyond New Jersey.

He could fill a void in the Senate. While there are a handful of freshman Republican senators with growing national profiles like Sens. Ted Cruz (Tex.), Rand Paul (Ky.) and Marco Rubio (Fla.), there is a dearth of new Democratic senators eager for a spotlight.

Tea Party shew Sarah Palin who campaigned for the losing Lonegan had this to say.

“The press has now called the race for Barack Obama’s celebrity stand-in, Cory Booker, but rest assured that Steve fought gallantly for every vote that would have led to American solvency and exceptionalism.  Steve energized commonsense conservatives all across the country. And though it’s sad, it’s not surprising to see the far left lapdog media finally cover this race tonight (once their chosen one was deemed the victor, but not previously when voters deserved to hear of Lonegan’s successful small-government record and intentions to defend our republic). Friends, do not be discouraged by the shenanigans of D.C.’s permanent political class today. Be energized. We’re going to shake things up in 2014. Rest well tonight, for soon we must focus on important House and Senate races. Let’s start with Kentucky – which happens to be awfully close to South Carolina, Tennessee, and Mississippi – from sea to shining sea we will not give up. We’ve only just begun to fight.”  *Queef*
