Co-director Matthew Bechstein stated in an interview that the “brand is broken” and a rebrand is necessary.GOProud which was originally founded by Chris “Shirtless Selfie” Barron and Jimmy “Cry Hate Crime” LaSalvia both left the organization over the past two years , and its been reported that GOProud has had some major scandals with its board and has bled its donors dry. Which leads one to wonder which one of the Koch brothers turned off the money spigot. So as GOProud gets thrown into the trash heap like a used condom.

The two biggest traitors to the LGBT community GOProud’s co-founders Jimmy LaSalvia and Chris Barron are stepping down as heads of their Auntie Tom organization they announced yesterday.
“It’s time. We don’t want it to get stale,” LaSalvia said, who along with Barron founded GOProud four years ago as a more conservative, grassroots alternative to the Log Cabin Republicans.
“The reason why GOProud has been so successful is because we have brought new ideas and new energy to the arena. At some point, what was the outside-the-box thinking all of the sudden becomes the box, and so now, that’s the way that GOProud does things. It’s our box. It seems crazy to everyone else, but, for us, it’s like standard operating procedure. It’s time for someone else to come in and shake things up,” Barron added.

Both LaSalvia and Barron will remain on GOProud’s board of directors. The group is seeking a new executive director.
It’s going to be hard for GOProud to find a new self-loathing homosexual lunatic to man its sinking ship that can get to top Jimmy LaSalvia’s accusations of fake anti-gay hate crimes and Chris Barron’s exhibitionism and psychological meltdowns.

Yesterday after GOProud also known as GOFuckYourself GOProud endorsed Mitt Romney for president Dan Savage was just a bit peeved and took to Twitter and posted : “The GOP’s house faggots grab their ankles, right on cue … Pathetic.”

Actually we should file this backlash on Savage as “expected”. As expected as Malkin using the “plantaion” remark. Which has been used long before Dan made his comment.

While Dan’s language is one 100% politically correct (and not everthing has to be), the frustration and anger in his message totally is.
What kind of people make up a group that endorses a candidate and a party that pretty much wants you dead because you want acceptance on any level and to justify your personal greed? (And believe me I am sure that Jimmy LaSalvia is using this to raise every penny that he can right now.)

Lisa De Pasquale, the former director of Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), will be stepping in as the interim chair of the board of directors, although she says in a release that the day-to-day operations of the organization will be unchanged. She already had been serving on GOProud’s advisory council. According to the release, Barron will remain on the board. Executive director Jimmy LaSalvia tells Metro Weekly that he remains the executive director and will remain a board member…According to the release, the group plans to restructure, including by asking several of its advisory council members to join the board.”
Barron said that he “will continue as the organization’s Chief Strategist and I will remain on the Board as Chairman Emeritus” according to a statement on the press release. Which means he’ll have no power and will continue being the crooked faced talking head on FOX -News
