Today In Infighting Is Funny: Trump vs. Cruz at the GOP Debate ““This guy will say anything!” – Video

Trump v Cruz

I love the smell of GOP cannibalism in the morning and thanks to last night’s GOP debate this morning stinks of it thanks to Ted Cruz and Donald Trump.

Trump and Cruz got into such a shouting match that provoked the moderator threatened, “Gentleman, I’m going to turn this car around.” Because both men went off on feeding frenzy of each other.

After Ted Cruz went after Donald Trump at tonight’s debate for being a fake conservative who’s held plenty of liberal positions in the past, Trump exploded. Cruz claimed that Trump supports federal funding for Planned Parenthood. Trump shot back, “You are the single biggest liar!” Trump said that he lied about Ben Carson in the much-debated Iowa fracas and is spreading false claims about him in South Carolina. He cried, “This guy will say anything! Nasty guy! Now I know why he doesn’t have one endorsement from any of his colleagues.”

The saddest part of the while argument?  Trump is actually the occasional voice of reason on the Republican side when it comes to some issues like Planned Parenthood.

Pass the popcorn please.

Because Infighting Is Funny – Sean Hannity vs. Pat Robertson GOP Cannibalism At Its Best

Eat Your own

Republican worms across America are starting to turn on each other over Ted Cruz and his Suicide Caucus continuing to keep the Government shutdown.  And two of the biggest right-wing worms Fox New’s Sean “I smoke a big cigar because I have a little dick” Hannity and evangelical Pat “Crazy as a bedbug” Robertson have  joined in the to the Republican all-you-can-eat cannibal buffet.

Pat Robertson, on today’s 700 Club show.

“The Republicans have got to wave the white flag and say, ‘We fought a good fight and now it’s over.’ They cannot shut the government down and then bring about a default. We can’t do it. I mean, it would be devastating economically to every human being and the Republicans just can’t get tarred with that. So they tried and if they go to the electorate and say, ‘We tried, Obamacare was awful, we tried to get it underway and we weren’t successful, the Democrats wanted it, they fought for it and they wouldn’t let go so it’s their bill, their program.'”

Sean Hannity, on the other hand speaking last night on his radio show wants to fight, fight, fight!

“Either you believe that we need radical, positive, oriented solutions for this country and you willing to fight for them or you’re not. Is it a third party we need? I’ve often argued no. I’m not so sure anymore. It may be time for a new conservative party in America. I’m sick of these guys. The problem here is the more establishment wing of the Republican party, they didn’t stick together with these guys and instead the establishment has been out there trashing principled conservatives for keeping their principles and for keeping their commitment and their promises to their constituents. They have now declared war on principled conservatives like Ted Cruz, doing the bidding of the Democrats and the leftist media and now you’ve got the establishment Republicans trashing the conservative base of their own party.”

Pass the popcorn and lets have a Sean Hannity vs. Pat Roberson duel!   Flaming assholes at 200 feet!

GOP Cannibalism – Right Wing Magazine “Commentary” Fires Writer Over Pro Gay Marriage Article

Ohio State professor D.G. Myers, is claiming that John Podhoretz, editor of the right-wing “literary magazine” Commentary, fired him over a piece he wrote called “GOP Can’t Be the Party of Old White Men” because Meyers wrote, “If marriage is everything we conservatives say it is, why should we want to deny its moral benefits to gays?”

Wrote Meyers:

If the Republicans are going to be the party of married churchgoers, though, they need to change their tune on two key issues. They must drop their opposition to same-sex marriage, and they must quit obsessing over illegal immigrants. These two issues alone are almost entirely responsible for the Republicans’ image and reputation as the party of old white men.

What conservatives do not seem to grasp is that same-sex marriage is not an issue for gays only, but also for the young, who support it overwhelmingly, without question. And if the GOP really is the party of marriage, shouldn’t it be in favor of extending the goods of marriage to as many as possible? If marriage is everything we conservatives say it is, why should we want to deny its moral benefits to gays? The point is to stand for marriage, for an institution that promotes human freedom, and not to barricade ourselves behind the status quo ante. That’s how the party of freedom becomes the party of reaction.

Podhoretz, whose father founded Commentary in 1945 as an extremely right-wing literary review, claims there were other tensions between him and Myers and that he had wanted to fire him before the gay marriage article and described Myers’ allegations are an “abominable lie.” He also called Myers’ support for equality is “goopy and overheated” and accused Meyer’s of “tonal insubordination.”

The New York Daily News reports that Myers’ conservative friends are defending him against Podhoretz on Twitter. Wrote one Myers fan, “Why are you homophobic? And why are you so terrified of independent minds discussing gay marriage in @commentary?”

Prepare to see a lot of this over the next few months because we will  surely see more episodes of the conservative GOP hydra eating its own for attempting to evolve and therefore not conforming  to its Nazi like  ideological purity.

Family Research Council Bitchslaps Eric Cantor Over “Tolerance” On LGBT Rights Issues Remarks

House Majority Leader Rep. Eric Cantor fearing a loss to the GOP party of newly senior baby boomers, young voters and minorities made an election year call (in other words bullshit) for his party to show more tolerance regarding LGBT issues.

Said Cantor:

I think an even bigger issue than that, from a cultural standpoint, is the acceptance of diversity. And the acceptance of diversity of opinion,” Cantor said, explaining that while he may have is own personal opinions on morality or religion, “at some point we’re all here as Americans and we all have to be appreciative of other people’s views.” “And it’s that tolerance, I think that that tolerance is something that enables people to be passionate about their positions. And if you’re for gay marriage, this country allows you to express your views. Some states support it and allow it, and others don’t. But its ok to have that difference of opinion in that,” he said.

Even though Cantor’s statement was a nothing more than a transparent self-serving GOP political move,  in a matter of HOURS Tony Perkin’s Family Research Council came out swinging at Cantor stating his his call for tolerance “misguided and harmful.”

This misguided tolerance leads both political parties to embrace H.R. 6019, legislation introduced by Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (R-Texas) (ironically one of the biggest bullies in Congress) that seeks to continue a slush fund at the Justice Department by federalizing “bullying.” This bill would very likely fund the Dan Savages of the world to go after the Dan Cathy’s of the world. That isn’t tolerance – that is taxpayer-funded culturcide. It is Rep. Cantor remarks on his own party though that seems to indicate it is the wrong kind of tolerance he is supporting. A party needs to stand for something or it stands for nothing. Is Rep. Cantor saying that if a Member of Congress was an avowed socialist they would embrace them? One would hope not. Party platforms need to mean something and should be guidelines for anyone wishing to join or work for that party. If your ideas and stances are good ones and you are consistent in your beliefs people will embrace you – otherwise your majority will go away even quicker then the last one did. – Tom McClusky, Family Research Council.

Well. I do hate to nitpick, BUT……

There actually IS already a Socialist in Congress.  Bernie Sanders, perhaps you’ve heard of him.  And also there no such word as “culturcide”.

OH PLEASE CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, EVEN FAUX I BEG YOU! Just let me have 5 mins in a debate Tom McClusky.

I promise I’ll even mop up my mess afterwards.
