After the GOP’s resounding loss in the 2012 Elections of not only the Romney Presidency, (excuse me but I always gag a bit when I say that) but also  Senate seats and races across the country the infighting and internal party cannibalism has begun and they are blaming everything from Hurricane Sandy to scary Tea Party candidates and even the Big GOP Kahuna Karl Rove himself for their ass whupping.

Mitt Romney has been telling donors on Wednesday that Hurricane Sandy killed his momentum.  Some in the GOP are blaming Chris Christie as well: “A lot of people feel like Christie hurt, that we definitely lost four or five points between the storm and Chris Christie giving Obama a chance to be bigger than life,” a source told the Washington Post.

One Republican operative blamed the Tea Party saying that there is a need for the GOP “to put out responsible candidates.  And we’re not doing that right now, because they got scared off by the Tea Party folks. I mean, just look at our candidates,”

Even Rick Tyler, who worked as an adviser and spokesperson to Rep. Todd Akin during his campaign for the Senate and others are beginning to turn on and blame Karl Rove.

“The Tea Party is not the problem. Conservatives are not the problem. Pro-lifers are not the problem,” Tyler said of Republicans. “Messaging is their problem, and what the party stands for and believes in is their problem.”

“You can’t just run ads and do robocalls, and count that as contacting voters,” Tyler said. He pointed to the result of the presidential contest Tuesday

Because of the magnitude of funding Rove and Crossroads committed to win races that Republicans ultimately lost, Tyler added, the super PAC deserved more blame for Tuesday’s outcomes than did the Republican Party itself.

“Rove spends more for Republican candidates than the NRSC and the NRCC. He’s running things,” Tyler said. He added, “Rove is definitely a problem.

A Republican operative adds ”The billionaire donors I hear are livid and there is some holy hell to pay. Karl Rove has a lot of explaining to do … I don’t know how you tell your donors that we spent $390 million and got nothing.”
