OHIO – Man Arrested After Threatening LGBT High School Students.

Brandon Moore, 42, was arrested on Wednesday evening after threatening LGBT students at a public high school south of Dayton. Ohio.

At 9:00am last Wednesday Moore called Kettering Fairmont High School to threaten LGBT students, a Kettering Police Department Public Information Officer said. School officials said the threat was not specific to anyone but broad in scope. “Following district safety protocols, Fairmont’s on-site School Resource Officer was made aware of the phone call,” the district said.

Kettering Police identified the caller around noon as Brandon Moore of Beavercreek, and his home and place of employment were identified.

Police said Moore had been arrested and charged with telecommunications and disturbing the peace violations. The was no mention of any future hate crime charges being filed.

Kettering Fairmont High School has been the focus of attention in the wake of two LGBTQ+ students being crowned king and queen at last month’s prom.

“Huntington Beach leaders were met with a mix of boos and cheers on Tuesday night as they axed plans to fly the Pride flag this coming June over city hall with a new policy that only allows government flags at city hall. Republican Councilman Pat Burns, who sponsored the debate, said the city should stick to the practice of only flying the city, state and national flags, along with occasionally flying the county flag and flags supporting prisoners of war and each branch of the military. Despite a large crowd packing Tuesday night’s meeting for the flag issue — the majority calling for council members to continue flying the pride flag each spring city leaders voted 4 to 3 to remove the standard from the city’s rotation.

Although Burns’ proposal did not specifically mention the pride flag, Councilmember Dan Kalmick said it clearly targeted the flag that represents “a group of folks who have been marginalized throughout history.

Connie Boardman, who served on the Huntington Beach City Council for eight years and was mayor twice, was one of dozens who spoke against the pride flag measure. Boardman noted that the item would prevent the city from flying the Olympic flag; Huntington Beach hopes to host the surfing competition when the Olympics come to Los Angeles in 2028.

The only flag Hunting Beach should fly is a VERY WHITE Flag of Surrender to Trump and the MAGA crew.

Iowa Republican House leaders are proposing two classroom bills that could force teachers to “out” certain LGBT students as well as prohibit teachers from providing LGBT-related materials for students 3rd grade and younger.

 House File 8 restricts school staff from giving “instruction of any kind” on gender identity and sexual orientation in K-3rd grade classrooms in addition  House File 9, prohibits school staff from “affirming” a student’s gender identity and preferred pronouns if it’s different from their birth certificate, unless the teacher has written approval from the student’s parent. It applies to students across all grade levels. It also prevents teachers from keeping a transgender student’s gender identity private from parents and from encouraging students to seek gender-affirming medical treatment.

Gay History – August 15, 1972: Ohio Refuses To Incorporate Cincinnati Gay Organization

Republican Ohio Secretary of State Ted W. Brown (R) refused to accept the articles of incorporation for the Greater Cincinnati Gay Society. The organization’s proposed articles of incorporation said the group was formed “to promote the acceptance of homosexuality as a valid life style whenever and wherever possible by legal, political or other means.” Brown refused to approve, file and record the articles of incorporation because “homosexuality as a valid life style has been and is currently defined by statute as a criminal act.” In a radical interpretation of Ohio law, Brown held that just talking about it, apparently, was also against the law under Ohio’s anti-sodomy and solicitation statutes.

The three men who filed the articles — Powell Grant, Jack Busse, and Robert Dugan — appealed Brown’s decision to the Ohio Supreme Court, asking the court to order Brown to accept the incorporation request. While the case was pending, the Ohio Legislature undertook a massive revision to the Ohio Criminal Code (now routinely referred to as the Ohio Revised Code), and in the process eliminated the anti-sodomy and anti-solicitation laws. But the majority of the court appeared not to have gotten that memo. On July 10, 1974, four of the seven justices sided with Secretary Brown. They acknowledged that homosexuality was no longer illegal, but held instead that “promotion of homosexuality as a valid life style is contrary to the public policy of the state.” The minority pointed out that because Ohio had decriminalized all private sexual activity between consenting adults, there was nothing even remotely illegal about the Society.

In 1976, Brown apparently had a change of heart when he approved the filing of articles of incorporation for the Dayton Lesbian and Gay Center.

In 1978, he lost his seat to his Democratic challenger in a very close race.

Last week we reported on how the United States Embassy in Moscow defied Donald Trump by hanging a rainbow LGBT PRIDE flag on it’s building after Trump ordered embassies around the world not to do so.

On Friday Russian President Vladimir Putin mocked the flag, suggesting it reflected on the orientation of the diplomats.

During a televised video conference, a lawmaker told Putin that the US embassy had hung a rainbow flag on its facade for the first time to celebrate Pride month in June.

‘Who works in this building?’ Putin asked the speaker, Senator Alexei Pushkov, to be told ‘Americans.’

‘Let them celebrate. They’ve shown a certain something about the people who work there,’ he added with a smile.

Members associated with Sorok Sorokov, a conventional Orthodox Christian group, videoed themselves wiping their feet and walking over a rainbow flag in front in the embassy building in protest.

Putin also on Friday signed amendments to the constitution backed by way of a national vote that include a clause on marriage being between a man and a woman, aimed at preventing legalisation of gay unions.

Shortly after Putin claimed that Russia does not discriminate against people on the basis of sexual orientation.

He said a law he signed in 2013 to a storm of international condemnation was aimed only to prevent the ‘foisting’ of LGBT information to children.

The law has since been used as a pretext to ban gay pride events and jail LGBT activists in Russia.

A mixed race couple was turned away from Boone’s Camp Event Hall when the owner of the Booneville, Miss., after the business sent them a message: They would not be allowed to get married at the venue after all “because of (the venue’s) beliefs.”

When the groom’s sister LaKambria Welch heard the news that her brother, who is black, would not be allowed to rent the venue to marry his fiancée, who is a white woman, she drove to the venue herself. There, she filmed an encounter with a woman who works for Boone’s Camp

“First of all, we don’t do gay weddings or mixed race, because of our Christian race—I mean, our Christian belief,” the woman tells Welch in the video.

“Okay, we’re Christians as well,” Welch replies.

“Yes ma’am,” the woman says.

“So, what in the Bible tells you that—?,” Welch beings to ask, before getting cut off by the apparent Boone’s camp employee.

“Well, I don’t want to argue my faith,” the woman says.“No, that’s fine,” Welch replies.

“We just don’t participate,” the woman says.

“Okay,” Welch responds.

“We just choose not to,” the woman continues.

“Okay. So that’s your Christian belief, right?,” Welch asks.

“Yes ma’am.”

Welch says she believes the venue found out her brother and his fiancée, whose names she has not provided to DSV, through Facebook.

“The owner took a look at my brother’s fiancée’s page and wrote her back to say they won’t be able to get married there because of her beliefs, He told my mom and she contacted the owner through messenger to only get a ‘seen’ with no reply. That’s when I took it upon myself to go get clarification on her beliefs.”

Katelynn Springsteen, also claims the venue refused to offer its services to a lesbian couple last year.

“I was trying to find my best friend, who is lesbian, a wedding venue. I was immediately shot down when I was asked if they were okay with a gay wedding,” Springsteen said.

TUPELO, Miss.—Now that students are back to school in many states across the nation, families may also be planning trips to their community libraries this fall.
 
But the American Family Association (AFA, www.afa.net) is warning families that a powerful agenda is targeting small towns.
 
Over the past year, “Drag Queen Story Hour” has been increasingly scheduled at public libraries nationwide. And AFA says small-town America is in the crosshairs.
 
In addition, dozens of news outlets, including the Christian Broadcasting Network, reported that the drag queen who read to children during a story hour in Houston was discovered to be a convicted child sex offender. 
 
According to a post written by radio host, author and president of Mission America Linda Harvey for AFA’s blog site “The Stand,” “local libraries and city councils are being appropriated by ‘LGBTQ’ activists because you are considered low-hanging fruit.”
 
“Leftists are targeting smaller towns because their political climates are easier to manipulate,” Harvey writes. “Here’s what one frank article says about how to implant ‘LGBTQ’ values in smaller towns: ‘City councils are simply faster and more nimble than state legislatures. They’ve got to be. Cities in the likes of Wyoming and Kentucky and Arkansas are the best chance for leading their deep-red states toward overdue changes.’
 
“Homosexuality is unhealthy, immoral and sinful,” she adds. “Trying to change genders is not only an affront to Almighty God’s marvelous and beautiful creation, it’s impossible. This is what books should be saying to kids: If you have such attractions/confusion, you were not born this way and you can change. And you should change, if you want a far better, more productive life that fits your body and honors the Lord. This is the truth that pastors should proclaim passionately in the face of a culture saturated with harmful sexual lies.”
 
AFA’s partner organization, One Million Moms (1MM), is also calling on the American Library Association to stop supporting Drag Queen Story Hour.
 
According to the official website of Drag Queen Story Hour, this perverted reading time “captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models. … [K]ids are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where people can present as they wish, where dress up is real.”
 
“Public libraries are targeting our children by hosting these reading hours that are saturated in absolute filth,” said One Million Moms Director Monica Cole. “Our children are being ‘groomed’ by drag queens under the disguise of education. Some drag queens have even admitted that their goal is to ‘groom’ the next generation. Drag Queen Story Hour events are not enhancing learning but instead brainwashing our preschoolers and elementary-age children. The goal is to normalize the LGBTQ lifestyle, and the American Library Association is defending these efforts when it should be protecting our children and refusing to take part in this abomination.”
 
AFA is urging families to take action regarding Drag Queen Story Hour in their local communities in several ways:
 
Sign the 1MM petition to the American Library Association, urging the 60,000-member organization to stop supporting Drag Queen Story Hour.

Ensure that family and friends are aware of the danger of this indoctrination and grooming of children. Check regularly with local public and school librarians to learn if drag queens are scheduled to hold Drag Queen Story Hour.

Become informed through the AFA Cultural Institute DVD, “Preparing Your Children for the Transgender Revolution.” For the resource, Christian author and apologist Tom Gilson explains what parents need to know and what children need to hear about the transgender revolution. The one-hour presentation equips parents with the knowledge they need to confidently address the issue with grace and truth.

Dozens of Straight Pride Attendees Drowned Out By Hundreds of Counter-Protestors in Modesto, CA

Despite being denied a permit for a Straight Pride event in Modesto, CA the organizers secretly planed to go forward with it and announced Saturday afternoon that the location of the event would be at the Planned Parenthood on McHenry Avenue in Modesto.  

The information was previously kept secret supposedly because of alleged and unsubstantiated threats of violence.

While only a few dozen Straight Pride participants actually showed up to the clandestine event, they were met by over 200 counter-protesters who shouted them down carrying signs, with phrases like “If being gay was a choice I’d be gayer” and “This was not on my gay agenda.”

Don Grundmann, the founder of the National Straight Pride Coalition, said he’s proud of his few supporters who showed up for standing up for their right to free speech and his group’s fundamental principals.

“Masculinity, femininity, the natural family of man, woman children, babies, born and unborn western civilization, Caucasians and all people, all of those are basic foundations that are under attack,” Grundmann ranted

Max Reed a member of the Modesto Non-Violent Collective, who helped organize the counter-protest that began at Enslen Park and then left to confront Straight Pride supporters in front of Planned Parenthood said “This community is standing together to reject this group and what they represent,” Reed said. This is not what Modesto is about. We’re about inclusion and diversity and unity.”

Other counter-protesters say they hope their strong turnout sends a message to Grundmann and his Straight Pride supporters across the country.

“When people want to come into your own backyard and spread a message that you don’t agree with then you have a right to stand up against that too,” Wendy Byrd, President of the NAACP Modesto Stanislaus Branch, said.

California City Bans Flying of Rainbow Pride Flag At City Hall After Bigoted Residents Descend On Council Meeting

Dublin, California a suburban city east of the gay mecca of San Francisco has decided it will not fly the Rainbow Pride flag over city hall after it was proposed by a gay city council member and then contested by a a group of bigoted residents.

At a city council meeting the bigots spoke loudly, asking if the city then has to fly the Confederate flag or the Black Lives Matter flag, or a communist flag.

Dublin resident Josh Rodriguez wearing a MAGA cap stated that the rainbow flag “ was not all inclusive” because the LGBT acronym doesn’t include the letter “S” for Straight. And another bigot spewed even worse anti-gay propaganda saying: “At the end of the day, I believe there is another letter that to the end that is being propagated actually at our state capital right now and that is “P” for pedophile.”

Councilmember Shawn Kumagai who proposed the flying of the rainbow flag to celebrate Pride Month said : “As a gay man and growing up through the marriage equality fight and serving in the military under Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, I know we have some work to do in this area.”

Dublin has a population of about 46,036 residents and 28,798 registered voters with 12,071 (41.9%) registered as Democrats, 5,044 (17.5%) registered as Republicans, and 10,505 (36.5%) decline to state voters.[

Ironically since 1992, Dublin has been a Democratic stronghold in presidential elections.

It’s like Hands Across America for stupid bigots.

The Washington Post reports:

Men and women, waving American and Confederate flags, linked hands in support of the wall’s construction. Many wore signs around their necks bearing Trump rhetoric: “Stop the drugs that destroy our youth!” and “STOP CHILD TRAFFICKING.”

The protest comes ahead of Trump’s Monday visit to El Paso, which is located several miles from Sunland Park. The Trump administration said Sunday that the chances of another government shutdown had increased markedly over the weekend, as negotiations reached an impasse.

The group consisted of only about 2-3 dozen people.

It was a very small wall made by very small minded people.
