HUD Secretary Ben Carson To Speak At WCF International Convention Of Anti-LGBT Hate Groups

HUD Secretary Ben Carson To Speak At WCF International Convention Of Anti-LGBT Hate Groups

Each year, anti-LGBT hate group World Congress of Families holds a major annual summit, in addition to smaller regional gatherings. The summit often attracts around three thousand people, and it’s held in major cities around the world.

This year, the eleventh annual gathering is slated for May 25 through 28 (with WCF events scheduled May 26 and 27) for Budapest, Hungary with the theme “Building Family-Friendly Nations: Making Families Strong Again,” and already the speakers’ list is shaping up as a who’s who on the anti-LGBT and anti-choice Christian Right.

WCF and its conferences serve as important networking sites for Christian Right activists from around the world, and often include local legislators and religious officials. The Budapest host committee was led by Hungarian government official Katalin Novák, Secretary of State for Youth, Family and International Affairs, which falls under the purview of Hungary’s Ministry of Capacities, headed by cabinet minister Zoltan Balog. – via The Southern Poverty Law Center

Other haters planning to attend include the Alliance Defending Freedom and C-FAM, both of whom advocate for criminalizing homosexuality, anti-LGBT and abortion whack-job  Alveda C. King, and  Austin Ruse.

Homosexuality is legal in Hungary for both men and women. Discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity is banned in the country. However, households headed by same-sex couples are not eligible for the same legal rights available to opposite-sex married couples. Registered partnership for same-sex couples was legalized in 2009.

Last year National Organization for Marriage  leader Brian Brownshirt was elected as the president of the World Congress of Families.

Uncle Ben Carlson Stands Stands Behind His “Slaves Were Immigrants” Remarks

The Hill reports:

Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson doubled-down Monday on his description of slaves as immigrants, arguing that the label fits anyone who comes into a country from the outside – even “involuntary immigrants.”

“I think people need to actually look up the word immigrant,” Carson said. “Whether you’re voluntary or involuntary, if you come from the outside to the inside, you’re an immigrant. Whether you’re legal or illegal, you come from the outside to inside, you’re an immigrant. Slaves came here as involuntary immigrants but they still had the strength to hold on.”

One woman who called into the show said she disagreed with Carson, arguing, “you can’t be an immigrant if you’re brought over here in chains.”

“Yes you can, you can be an involuntary immigrant,” Carson responded. “We should be proud to have ancestors that had the mental strength to endure what so many others had not been able to endure,” he continued.

So according to Ben Carlson who by the way was raised on  welfare and food stamps  is that slavery was just an exciting, thinking-outside-the-box jobs program!

The shackles were just a formality.

Ben Carson At His Trump Cabinet Confirmation Hearing: "No extra rights for gay Americans."

Trump Cabinet pick Ben Carson reiterated his belief Thursday that LGBT Americans don’t deserve “extra rights.”

During Carson’s confirmation hearing, Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) pressed the Housing and Urban Development nominee about whether he would enforce LGBT protections in the public housing sector.

“Of course, I would enforce all the laws of the land,” Carson responded. “Of course, I think all Americans should be protected by the law.”

What I have said before is I don’t think anyone should get ‘extra rights,’” he added.

Carson’s remarks mirror those from his 2014 CPAC speech: “Of course gay people should have the same rights as everyone else, but they don’t get extra rights,” Carson said at the time. “They don’t get to redefine marriage.”

Carson, a conservative Christian, has often run afoul of the LGBT community, suggesting they take advantage of “political correctness.”

During a 2015 speech to the Iowa Freedom Summit, Carson addressed religious freedom concerns raised by Christian bakers who argue it violates their faith to bake wedding cakes for gay people.

“[That] is really not all that smart, because they might put poison in that cake,” Carson joked.

America has officially gone to hell.

Cabinet of Deplorables: Donald Trump Picks Anti-Gay Whack Job Ben Carson for HUD Secretary

Anti-LGBT lunatic Dr. Ben Carson will be nominated as the next secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Trump transition team announced Monday.

“I am thrilled to nominate Dr. Ben Carson as our next Secretary of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development,” President-elect Donald Trump said in a statement.

Trump’s statement via CNN:

Ben Carson has a brilliant mind and is passionate about strengthening communities and families within those communities. We have talked at length about my urban renewal agenda and our message of economic revival, very much including our inner cities. Ben shares my optimism about the future of our country and is part of ensuring that this is a Presidency representing all Americans. He is a tough competitor and never gives up.

The secretary of housing and urban development oversees federal public housing programs and helps formulate policy on homelessness and housing discrimination. As is the case with all cabinet secretaries, Carson needs to be confirmed by the Senate.

Said Carson

After serious discussions with the Trump transition team, I feel that I can make a significant contribution particularly to making our inner cities great for everyone. We have much work to do in strengthening every aspect of our nation and ensuring that both our physical infrastructure and our spiritual infrastructure is solid.

Carlson once a respected pediatric neurosurgeon at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University. Now he’s known for his offensive and often illogical and ignorant comments. Here are some of the worst things he’s said about gay people, homosexuality, and same-sex marriage.

1. “Because a lot of people who go into prison go into prison straight — and when they come out, they’re gay. So, did something happen while they were in there? Ask yourself that question,” Carson said.

2. He mentioned LGBTQ people, pedophiles, and bestiality in the same sentence, as if they are all part of the same group and should be treated the same way.

“No group, be they gays, be they NAMBLA [the North American Man/Boy Love Association], be they people who believe in bestiality, it doesn’t matter what they are, they don’t get to change the definition. So it’s not something that’s against gays, it’s against anybody who wants to come along and change the fundamental definitions of pillars of society. It has significant ramifications,” he said.

3. Because God says that it’s an “abomination.”

“How I feel and what I think isn’t just my opinion. God in his Word says very clearly that he considers homosexual acts to be an ‘abomination.’” he said.

4. And when he tried to explain his comments, he made zero sense.

“There is no group. I wasn’t equating those things, I don’t think they’re equal. Just, you know, if you ask me for apple and I give you an orange you would say, well that’s not an orange. And then I say, that’s a banana, that’s not an apple either. And there’s a peach, that’s not an apple, either,” he said. “But it doesn’t mean that I’m equating the banana and the orange and the peach. And in the same way I’m not equating those things.  My point was that once we start changing the definitions, then where do we stop?”

5. He actually said that bakers who don’t approve of same-sex marriage might poison a same-sex couples’ wedding cake.

“What I have a problem with is when people try to force people to act against their beliefs because they say, ‘they’re discriminating against me,'” Carson said. “So they can go right down the street and buy a cake, but no, let’s bring a suit against this person because I want them to make my cake even though they don’t believe in it. Which is really not all that smart because they might put poison in that cake.”

6. And he said that gay people are more protected than Christians in this country.

“I would like to see as much emphasis on the rights of Christians and people who are members of the faith community as there is to some of the other groups,” Carson said. “Who gets more protection? Christians? Or LGBT people under the law? I would like to see a much greater conservation about Christians and their rights.”

7. So he obviously believes that anti-gay “religious freedom” laws are “absolutely vital.”

“It is absolutely vital that we do all we can to allow Americans to practice their religious ways while simultaneously ensuring that no one’s beliefs infringe upon those of others,” he said.

8. Carson thinks that people who support same-sex marriage are trying to get rid of the Bible.

“Think about the implications,” he said. “When people come along and try to change the definition of marriage, they are directly attacking the relationship between God and his people,” Carson said. “And that’s the reason it’s so important for them to change the definition, because if you can get rid of that, you can get rid of everything else in the Bible too.”

9. He thinks that support for same-sex marriage will lead to a disaster like the fall of the Roman Empire.

“If we can redefine marriage as between two men or two women or any other way based on social pressures as opposed to between a man and a woman, we will continue to redefine it in any way that we wish, which is a slippery slope with a disastrous ending, as witnessed in the dramatic fall of the Roman Empire,” he said.

10. Ben Carlson thinks that same-sex marriage is a Marxist plot.

“If you look at a lot of the writings of the neo-Marxists when they talk about the New World Order, they say there’s only one stick-in-the-mud, the United States. How do you get them out of the way or how do you change them? And they said there were two fundamental things: the Judeo-Christian faith and their strong families,” he said. “I liken the gay marriage crowd to a new group of mathematicians who say, ‘Two plus two is five. And the new ones insist that it is five.”

Did Tea Party Loon Ben Carlson Suggest That Anti-Gay Bigots Should Poison Gays?

Ben Carson

What I have a problem with is when people try to force people to act against their beliefs because they say ‘they’re discriminating against me.’ So they can go right down the street and buy a cake, but no, let’s bring a suit against this person because I want them to make my cake even though they don’t believe in it. Which is really not all that smart because they might put poison in that cake.” – Ben Carson, in a press conference yesterday after his speech at the 2016 GOP Clown Car Revue.

Carson wittingly or not just planted the idea of poisoning wedding cakes for same sex couples in the minds of his fellow bigots.

What kind of hateful idiot would say such a thing.

Incitement to murder charges should be pressed.
