Busta Rhymes anti-gay

Rapper Busta Rhymes, (aka Trevor Tahiem Smith Jr), , has spoken out in the past in support of gay artists and rights , telling MTV News, “I think the whole world is ready to accept whatever people choose to be in life,” when R&B artist Frank Ocean came out.

But that wasn’t the case the other night when Rhymes flew into an anti-gay slur-filled tantrum in Miami Beach early Wednesday morning at the restaurant Cheeseburger Baby hurling homophobic slurs at the restaurant employees  and the owner because he wasn’t allowed to cut in line for a a burger of have it “his” way.

Stephanie Vitori, the owner of  Cheeseburger Baby, said that Rhymes and his entourage got belligerent when the restaurant refused to take their order before others waiting in line — then Rhymes flew into a rage when condiments were served on the side, calling one server a “fag” and Vitori a “bitch.”

Vitori said the restaurant was slammed as usual after South Beach clubs let out, but “one of [Rhymes’] crew came in and said, ‘Can you take my order first? We’re very important people.'”

Cheeseburger Baby employees declined. “It doesn’t matter who you are, its first come first served,” Vitori said.

But despite being served his to-go bag within 10 minutes, Rhymes became enraged that his mayonnaise, ketchup, salt and pepper were included on the side and after an employee explained the policy to the 40-year-old rapper, he allegedly put on his mouth grills and screamed, “Fuck you, fag! I’m not leaving until I get ketchup, mayo, salt and pepper on my burger,” and he began coming over the counter screaming. “Fuck you, bitch,” at Vitori.

All that “over putting ketchup, mayo, salt and pepper on a burger? For real, you can’t open up a mayo and ketchup packet? It’s not right. I’m a gay business owner, and you don’t use that term. It’s degrading.”

Vitori called police but Rhymes left before Miami Beach Police arrived, but Vitori says she filed a report — and then had to call police again after a member of Rhymes’ party called later to say the rapper would be returning. But he never showed. Officers stayed at the restaurant until staff closed up.

Rhymes’ publicist has made no public comment about the incident at this time.

Neither has the organization formerly known as the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation now only known as GLAAD

Supreme Court of Canada Upholds Anti-Hate Human Rights Code

Finding against anti-gay “activist” Bill Whatcott, the Supreme Court of Canada has upheld hate-speech provisions of the province of Saskatchewan’s Human Rights Code. In a unanimous decision, Canada’s top court found that infringing rights of expression and religion, as contained in Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms, could be justified as “reasonable limits.”

Whatcott had distributed four anti-gay pamphlets that “used words like ‘filth,’ ‘propaganda’ and ‘sodomy’ to describe gay relationships and the discussion of equality,” as reported by the CBC in this video clip.

While two of Whatcott’s flyers were found to constitute hate speech, two others were not. The court struck down the section of the SK Human Rights Code disallowing speech that “ridicules, belittles or otherwise affronts the dignity of any person or class of persons on the basis of a prohibited ground” as unreasonable. Justin Marshall Rothstein wrote, “These flyers are potentially offensive but lawful contributions to the public debate on the morality of homosexuality.” Um, okay.

Whatcott has refused to pay the $7,500 in damages ordered by the court and has vowed to continue his anti-gay campaign in the name of Christianity, even as sensible Christians shake their heads and mutter that this nutter is completely missing the point.

 

Major League Soccer’s Marc Burch Suspended For Saying Anti-Gay Slurs

In professional sports player being a douchebag news, Major League Soccer’s Marc Burch of the Seattle Sounders was suspended after he was heard using homophobic slurs at a game. Burch will not only have to sit out three games, but also he is mandated to pay an unspecified amount in damages as well as attend mandatory sensitivity training.

Before the penalty for his anti-rant on the field, Burch issued a  formal apology for his lack of judgment:

“I apologize for my horrific choice of words last night during our match. This is something that is inconsistent with my family values and because of that I am both disappointed and embarrassed by my level of poor judgment. I take seriously my role as a leader in the community and this is completely regrettable and unacceptable. Character matters and I hope through hard work on and off the field to begin earning your respect and trust again.”

Commissioner of Major League Soccer, Don Garber had this to say:

“Major League Soccer has a zero tolerance policy in response to this type of behavior from its players or staff. While I understand and believe that Mr. Burch is remorseful, Major League Soccer is committed to providing an environment in which all individuals are treated with dignity and respect.”

This will hurt the team as Burch is one of their best players but it would’ve hurt their reputation more had this disciplinary action hadn’t taken place. People need to be held accountable for what they say. No word yet from Burch on whether he feels his punishment was fitting.

Lincoln Nebraska Lesbian Bound, Gagged, With Anti-Gay Slurs Cut Into Her Body Survives Brutal Hate Crime

A Lincoln, Nebraska woman became the victim of HORRIBLE hate crime on Sunday morning when three masked men  barged into her house, bound her wrists and ankles with zip  ties, cut her all over her body and carved homophobic slurs into her skin before  dumping gasoline on her floor of her house and lighting it with a match.

The woman survived crawling  from her blazing house, naked and bleeding and screaming for help  reaching the doorstep of a neighbor’s home.

The Omaha World Herald adds:

[Capt. Jim] Davidsaver said the victim’s  description of the suspects was limited because of the masks. When police  arrived, the house was still on fire, the captain said. He said it caused about  $200 in damage. Davidsaver would not say what words the men carved into the  woman’s skin. “We need to maintain the integrity of the case,” he  said.

But Erin Thompson of Lincoln, who described herself as the victim’s  best friend, said she got a call from her friend about 6:30 Sunday morning. The  friend asked Thompson to pick her up from the hospital.

“They carved on  me,” Thompson said her friend tearfully told her.

Thompson said three  epithets, including the word “dyke,” were carved on the woman’s arms and  stomach.

Police are still searching for suspects and have not made any arrests.

A Facebook group has also been formed. and a vigil for the poor women took place Sunday night attended by hundreds:

 

Marine Kills Marine After Hurling Anti-Gay Slurs In Washington, DC

United States Marine Michael Joseph Poth, 20, used a pocketknife to stab and kill another Marine, Philip Bushong once in the chest Saturday night after an altercation in which Poth called Bushong anti-gay slurs two blocks from the Eastern Market Metro stop  in Washington, DC.

Bushong, who was 23 and  based at Camp Lejeune, in North Carolina  was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Poth, was arressted at his barracks a block away and was charged with second-degree murder.

Officers found a pocketknife on Poth when they arrested him, and believe that the men got into a fight on the street, and did not know each other before the incident

“This is obviously a tragedy and we’re working in concert with local authorities and cooperating with them as necessary,” said Marine Capt. John D. Norton, public affairs officer at Marine Barracks Washington.

Because the killing involved an anti-gay slur, the D.C. police’s gay and lesbian unit was notified.

There was no indication that either man was gay

 

 

AUDIO: Southwest Airlines Pilot Goes On "Fag Rant" Over Open Frequency – Fly The Unfriendly Skies!

This is news to me.

Back in March a Southwest pilot was suspended after his cockpit microphone became stuck and broadcast a rant to control towers and other aircraft over an area of hundreds of miles about Southwest flight attendants whom he demeaned as gay, old or ugly.

“Think of the odds of that. I thought I was in Chicago, which was Party Land. After that, it was a continuous stream of gays and grannies and grandes. Six months, I went to the bar three times – three times! Once with the granny and the fag, and I wish I hadn’t gone. At the very end, with two girls, one of them that was probably do-able. But we ended up going to the bar and then the crew room in St. Louis and all these women wanted to do was, one wanted to berate her sister and the other wanted to bitch about her husband. Literally. For three hours, me and the FO. When that was done, 2:30, got back to my room, I’m like, ‘Why the fuck did I stay up?  So I mean, it was a … disaster for six months. Now, I’m back in Houston, which is easily one of the ugliest bases. I mean, it’s all these fucking old dudes and grannies and there’s maybe a handful of cute chicks.”

At one point an air traffic controller broke in. “Okay, whoever’s transmitting, better watch what you’re saying there.” bu the pilot continued on until a air traffic controller chimed in again saying “Okay, somebody’s got a stuck mike and telling all about their, uh, endeavors. We don’t need to hear that.”  At that point, a SkyWest pilot transmitted his flight’s position, commenting: “and that was not us.”

Southwest Airlines said the pilot received a suspension without pay, but did not specify how long the suspension lasted.  Was also reprimanded and prior to being reinstated, he underwent additional diversity education to reinforce the company’s expectations for all employees to demonstrate respect for others.

Ironically, Consumer Reports rates Southwest Airlines as Number 1 in Customer Service Ratings.

WWE Announcer Michael Cole Calls Josh Mathews A "Faggot", GLAAD Fails AGAIN!

Back in February, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) those beefy, olied up guys in speedo who like to rassle and grope each other got into a a bit of hot water when when John Cena did a lame rap attack against  Dwayne “The Rock”Johnson during a broadcast by calling him a “fruity pebble” and throwing out a “Brokeback” reference.

Well enter stage right GLAAD, (because WWE has good cable ratings) who contacted WWE and would be  “working together to spread an anti-bullying message to the masses, and WWE has invited us to conduct seminars for their writing staff.”  Which is really all wrestling is after all.

GLAAD was first made aware of the incidents by several of its members following the February 21 broadcast of WWE Raw, which featured wrestler John Cena responding to taunts made by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson with a rap song making fun of Johnson’s film roles. The next incident occurred on the show a week later (Feb. 28), when Cena was challenging another wrestler known as “The Miz” while in the ring with him, and he insinuated that the Miz and his wrestling partner might secretly be a couple

WWE released the following apology statement to that effect:.

WWE takes this issue very seriously, and has already spoken with our talent about these incidents. We are taking steps and working with GLAAD to ensure that our fans know that WWE is against bullying or discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation. We strongly value our fans in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, and apologize to them for these incidents.

As well the WWE should. because nice chunck of thier audience is gay teen boys and men who go through alot of tissues while watching thier show.

So now GLAAD is holding “sensitivity” seminars with WWE’s “writers” and ehm, “talent” . But I do wish that GLAAD would actually earn their donations and go after the rampant homophobia that is being broardcast on the radio and television via News outlets who continue to use religious hate groups as “experts” against gays using lies and made-up and information. But that would be GLAAD would actually have to work.   And after all  the WWE does reach an impressionalble audience and  maybe they’ll have access to the locker room and get some good guilt sponsorship dollars out of this in the end.

So here we are less than two weeks after the John Cena incident and what happnes?

 WWE announcer Michael Cole sends a public Twitter message to colleague Josh Mathews calling him a: “faggot.” Cole has 24,627 followers on Twitter.  Josh Mathews has 43,920.  And the Wrestling Twitterverse is going mad.

TMZ who originally caught the tweet reported that WWE responded immediately.

A rep for the WWE tells TMZ, “WWE has alerted GLAAD to the situation and spoken to Michael Cole about his post. He has removed it and apologized for using hateful language. Michael will be included in the training session being done by GLAAD. WWE takes this very seriously and is against discrimination of any kind based on sexual orientation, gender, race, religion or other   A rep for GLAAD could not be reached for comment.

Cole, of course says  it was not meant as it was taken .  How else is calling someone your “character” has been feuding with a “faggot” to be taken? As a compliment? A love note?

And as for GLAAD of course a rep could’t be reached.  It is  the weekend and we all know that LGBT defamation only occurs during paid working hours between Monday and Friday and besides Barrios needs 2-3 days to get the properly worded press realease together as not to offend anyone at the WWE.

So now we wait with bated breath for GLAAD’s press release about this incident.  Which will probably be soft and mushy intead of strong and forceful as it should.  GLAAD should look at this no differently and demand the same action that would used against Cole if he used the word “nigger”.  But they won’t. 

I know that. 

You know that.

WWE knows that.

EVERYONE knows that.

Shia LaBeouf In Bar Brawl After Being Called "Fucking Faggot"

Shia LaBeouf struck back at an idiot fan literally at Mad Bull’s Tavern in Los Angeles after being called a “fucking faggot” for not stopping to have his picture taken

Mark Mastro,  the idiot who was “attacked” by LaBeouf, says all he had wanted was a picture but he LaBeouf refused.

“‘My friend said, ‘what’s up Shia’?’ Mastro says. ‘Shia told him to ‘get the f**k out of my way.’ He was slurring his words. ‘That’s when I said to my buddy, ‘don’t worry, he’s just a f**cking fagot anyway’,’ Mastro says.”

“‘He turned around, cursed me out, and I started laughing.’ Mastro explains that the actor then jumped in his black truck which was parked directly in front of Mad Bull’s.”

“‘All of a sudden, he jumped out, and ran back towards the bar. He charged at me! I jumped over the patio fence onto the sidewalk to get away from him. But he kept coming after me. ‘He was getting in my face. He was talking sh*t. He was chest-bumping me.'”

“That’s when the bouncer jumped in, Mastro says. ‘A bouncer put Shia in a head lock.’

When the police arrived LaBeouf was handcuffed but were released shortly afterward

The idiot Mastro casually saying “yeah, he’s just a faggot” pretty much says everything needed about the type of individual he is, not even bringing into discussion the fact he’s selling his story everywhere.

Video – Navy Aircraft Carrier Commander Investigated Over A Series Of Homemade Raunchy Anti-Gay Videos Shown To Crew

The Virginia Pilot Newspaper has obtained footage of a series of raunchy videos, full of anti-gay remarks, and crass humour which were  shown to the crew of the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise while on deployment supporting the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan by Capt. Owen Honors, who produced, scripted and starred in the videos and who at the time was the executive officer, or second-in-command, of the Enterprise.

Honors is shown cursing along with other members of his staff because the “f-bomb is funny”. There are also anti-gay slurs, simulated sex acts, rectall exams, two female sailors in a shower together and Honors sitting behind his desk jacking off,.

All made with U.S. Navy equiptment, in a war zone, with our taxpayers money.

So why aren’t the Teabaggers andy why aren’t they screaming now?

New York Yankee "Bleacher Creatures" Agree To Stop Chanting Homophobic "Gay Man" Song

Key members of the Yankee’s “Bleacher Creatures” have agreed to stop chanting the homophobic song “Gay Man” that they use to embaress rival team fans. 

As posted here on October 10, 2010.  The “Gay Man”/- “Why Are You Gay” was a tradition of Section 39/Section 203, aka the Bleacher Creatures, and is directed at fans of the opposing team sitting in or near the section and is sung on a regular basis with video proof of it being sung as far back as 2004..  Now according to according to Flip Bondy of the New York Daily News, several key members of Yankee Stadium’s Bleacher Creatures have agreed to police their own area and put an end to the tradition, which had upset many fans..

“It’s all done,” a long-time Creature told the Daily News. “All of it. We’re going clean. We didn’t like the way the Bleacher Creatures were being looked at. That’s not us.”

It stopped because they “didn’t like the way they were being looked at” not because its “wrong” or potentionally dangerous” or “insulting”.

Buty at least it’s over now.  WE HOPE..
