LGBT Friendly Church In Montana Vandalized With Swastikas and Anti-Gay Pamphlets

LGBT Friendly Church In Montana Vandalized With Swastikas and Anti-Gay Pamphlets

The Billings Gazette is reporting that a week after someone left a stack of anti-gay pamphlets at the gay-friendly Grace United Methodist Church more messages appeared in and around the building, including swastikas and a hastily scrawled “No gays” on the sign board outside.

Grace United has been a vocal advocate of LGBT issues and rights, hosting LGBT gatherings and fighting discrimination within the community.

Pastor Sarah Beck called the recent acts “unacceptable,” and said the congregation had been concerned, not just for the church but also for the people responsible. “That is a sign of some seriously dark stuff,” she said.

Last Sunday, the church hosted a public forum to speak out the against anti-gay literature placed inside the church Jan. 25.

Then on Thursday, church volunteers discovered a swastika painted on the choir room door and more anti-gay literature pinned to a bulletin board inside the room.

Outside on a church sign that reads, “Open doors, open hearts,” someone had scribbled, “No gays.”

“It’s certainly an attempt at intimidation,” Pastor Beck said. “But it’s not going to work. We’re not going to shrink away from being who we are in the community, as a congregation.”

The incident has been reported to the Billings Police Department and the FBI.

Anti-LGBT Hate Group Leaders Head to Barbados to Spread Propaganda at WCF Conference

LGBT Hate Group Leaders to Barbados to Spread Propaganda at WCF Conference

Anti-LGBT hate group leaders and activists from around the globe will gather in Barbados this weekend to spread propaganda and lies at a  gathering hosted by the World Congress of Families (WCF).

Designated an anti-LGBT hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, WCF provides a platform for some of the most virulently anti-LGBT extremists from around the world.

WCF has held previous Caribbean conferences in 2012 and 2013, both in Trinidad.

Veronica Evelyn the WCF coordinator of the Caribbean hate-fest states: “Dysfunctional family structures are a legacy of the Caribbean’s colonial past. Strong nations are built on strong families and the WCF conference will provide a platform for equipping leaders across the Caribbean to firmly define and passionately pursue core values regarding marriage, family and human sexuality.”

Conference speakers include Theresa Okafor, who has compared LGBT people to Boko Haram, notorious hate group leader buffoon, Brian Brown. president and co-founder of the National Organization for Marriage, Glenn Stanton of Focus on the Family and “Dr.” Michael Combs of the National Family Association.

World Congress of Families has held past regional conferences in Canada, Trinidad, Bolivia, London,, Kenya, Nigeria, Serbia, Moldova, Latvia, Ukraine, Russia.

Although the WCF is a project of the Illinois-based Howard Center for Family, Religion and Society, donations and dues from the usual anti-LGBT suspects such as Focus on the Family, NOM, and Tony Perkin’s Family Research Council its been discovered recently that the GFC Foundation  (God, Family and Country) which is run by Utah’s Sutherland Institute’s chairman Stan Swim who also happens to serves on the WCF’s board of directors and GFC has donated over $300,000.00 to the WCF hate group to hold their conferences.

WCF supporter and  affiliate Scott Lively, who may also be attending the conference, traveled repeatedly to Uganda, claiming that LGBT people are responsible for the Holocaust, the Rwandan genocide and the spread of HIV and AIDS and is not only tied to but has also been named

New York Times Editorial Board Slams North Carolina’s Anti-LGBT Law: Expect Major Consequences For Hate

New York Times Editorial Board

From the editorial board of the New York Times:

By promoting the ludicrous idea that transgender women are inherently dangerous, the law endangers citizens who are already disproportionately vulnerable to violence and stigmatization. Transgender men go largely unmentioned in bathroom bill debates, but that could change. James Parker Sheffield, a transgender man with a beard, exposed the foolishness of the law in a tweet to the governor. “It’s now the law for me to share a restroom with your wife,” he wrote, attaching a photo of himself.

North Carolina could face serious economic repercussions from the law. It can expect a backlash from leading employers, a potential cut in federal education funding and lawsuits challenging the constitutionality of the law. American Airlines, which has a hub in Charlotte, and PayPal, which recently announced it would create 400 jobs in the state, are among several companies that have already criticized the law.

Mr. McCrory, who is running for re-election, may have assumed the bill would help him in a tight race against Attorney General Roy Cooper, a Democrat who called the measure shameful. “Not only does this hurt North Carolina families, but it hurts our economy as well,” Mr. Cooper said in a video message. Voters should reject the candidate who made the state a pioneer in bigotry.

While I’m happy to see that a major companies like Bank America and PayPal have begun to speak out backlash has begun, but it won’t mean anything unless the companies in question actually do remove their headquarters and business from the state

Please reach out to the following companies;  Bank of America IBM, American Airlines, PayPal, and Apple and tell them we appreciate the talk.  But its nothing without the walk.

FRC Hate Group Leader Tony Perkins: God Did Not Make Mayor Pete Gay!

FRC’s Tony Perkins Has Epic Hissy Fit Over NFL Boycotting Georgia Over Anti-LGBT Bill

Tony Perkins

“In the NFL’s offseason, league officials are trying to invade someone else’s turf: Georgia’s. In the ongoing scrimmage over the state’s deflated religious freedom bill, the National Football League is using a familiar playbook to frighten Gov. Nathan Deal (R) out of signing H.B. 757, a shell of a measure that — in its old form — would have shielded Christians from the heavy hand of the government. Now, days after the proposal was gutted of any meaningful conscience protections, the NFL, NBA, and MLB are pulling out all the stops to kill a bill that’s actually less inclusive than the First Amendment!

“Unlike the original version, only a fraction of faith-based groups and churches will have safe harbor from the government’s ruthless attacks on Christians. But instead of actually reading the bill, the NFL and other businesses seem quite content to take the media’s misleading word for it. While activists at the Human Rights Campaign resort to lies to defeat the measure, the reality is that H.B. 757 doesn’t offer even the barest of buffers for people like Kentucky Clerk Kim Davis, bakers Aaron and Melissa Klein, or Atlanta Fire Chief Kelvin Cochran. If anything, it does as much to quarantine faith as it does to defend it.

“True diversity is respecting everyone’s opinions — not a vocal few who refuse to practice the same tolerance they preach. The NFL went even further, threatening (not so subtly) to pull the city from Super Bowl consideration in in 2019 and 2020. “NFL policies emphasize tolerance and inclusiveness, and prohibit discrimination based on age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or any other improper standard,” league spokesman Brian McCarthy said. “Whether the laws and regulations of a state and local community are consistent with these policies would be one of many factors NFL owners may use to evaluate potential Super Bowl host sites.”

“Of course, we saw this same bullying in Houston, where voters overwhelmingly rejected an ordinance that would have censored Christians. Despite the League’s big talk, it backed down, leaving plans in place for the championship game next year. Clearly it was nothing more than a corporate head-fake meant to placate the LGBT crowd. But if the NFL is so anti-freedom that it will pick up its ball and play somewhere else, let them. Who believes these entertainers are actually credible voices on the issue anyway? This country was built on religious liberty — not the narrow mockery of it made by this bill, but an all-inclusive privilege meant for every citizen everywhere.” – Hate group leader Tony Perkins having a histrionic meltdown of biblical proportions via press release.

“Unlike the original version, only a fraction of faith-based groups and churches will have safe harbor from the government’s ruthless attacks on Christians.”  Not really, but nice try Tony.  Even with the tweaking H.B. 757 would still allow religious owned schools, hospitals and businesses to discriminate.

And as for bringing up The KKKlein’s and Kim Davis……..

Tony Perkins beats a dead horse. AGAIN!

Rick Santorum To Hate Group Leader, KKK Associate and MSNBC Pundit Tony Perkins: “I’ll Bring Back DADT”

Rick “Man on Dog” Santorum who thinks that social issues should have no effect on voting, even though thats all he stomps on.  Made a stop at a Louisiana church yesterday to spew more anti-lgbt hate by declaring once again that if elected he will overturn the repeal of DADT.

Hosting the Santorum event was none other than Family Research Center Hate Group Leader, known White Supremicist, and MSNBC pundit Tony Perkins.

MSNBC must be so proud!

BUSTED – FRC Astroturfs With Media Research Council To Attack NBC With FAKE Citizens Group

On June 20th The Media Research Center (cue ominous music) a media analysis organization based in , founded by conservative activist L. Brent Bozell III. who’s mission to “prove — through sound scientific research — that liberal bias in the media does exist and undermines traditional American values” issued the following statement and call to action for religious leaders and people of faith around the country issued the following statement about NBC removing the word’s “under god” from the nationally televised U.S. Open which aired over Fathers Day Weekend:

“NBC has unquestionably committed an act of religious bigotry designed to offend Christians. Removing the words ‘under God’ from the Pledge of Allegiance in a piece they aired yesterday during the U.S. Open – not once, but twice – was absolutely not accidental. It was brazenly deliberate. NBC’s pathetic apology did nothing but compound the offense by refusing to admit what they had done. “The Media Research Center will be sending letters to leaders of the top Christian denominations in the country, calling on them to hold NBC’s feet to the fire and demand the network fire those responsible. We are urging religious leaders to educate their congregations to NBC’s attack on faith and join us in publicly denouncing the network.”

And send out the word they did, but they didn’t have to go far or use any stamps it turns out.  with not only

Tony Perkin’s and the hate group the  Family Research Council immediately joined up with  The Media Research Center and another group called the Citizens Against Religious Bigotry (CARB).

Well we all know who the Family Research Council is (unfortunately) but who exactly is The Citizens Against Religious Bigotry

Well its none other than The Media Research Center itself!  Thats right.  Registered and created by Kevin Eder, the Marketing Analytics Coordinator of The Media Research Center.  And further proof of the astroturfing is found looking at the Board Members of CARB which reads like one big incestuous Who’s Who of Hate.  With none other Brent Bozell – Media Research Center president, Tony Perkins – Family Research Council president,  Michael Medved – Nationally syndicated talk radio host, Bill Donohue – Catholic League president, Tim Winter – Parents Television Council president and  Rabbi Daniel Lapin – The American Alliance of Jews and Christians all fronting an imaginary group of Citizens and gleefully taking in donations.

Anti-Gay Hate-Cow Linda Harvey & Asshat Gary Glenn Don’t Think Corporations Should Hire Gays

Hate-Cow Linda Harvey of the batshit Christianist organization Mission America interviewed the equally bigoted and hateful head of the American Family Association’s Michigan chapter, Gary Glenn. Together the went on to wax demonically about how the ‘Religious Right’ should respond to recent gay rights victories. At one point Glenn went on a rant about how companies should not hire gay employees because of the “severe medical consequences” of being gay.

What ridiculous folly to suggest that only those individuals who engage in homosexual behavior given all of its severe medical consequences constitute the best and the brightest. It’s not really bright to engage in behavior that puts you at dramatically higher risk of mental illness and substance abuse and AIDS and cancer and hepatitis, and according to various sources, premature death. So to suggest that engaging in that type of behavior defines someone as the best and brightest, which seems to be the line coming out of corporate America, is just ridiculous.

White Supremacist Praises NOM and David Tyree – Shocking Isn’t It?

Alvin McEwwan over at Pam’s House Blend is reporting that white supremacist James Edwards host of “The Political Cesspool,” a shamelessly white nationalist radio talk show is just praising NOM’s posterboy David Tyree for stepping up against same sex marriage…..in a way that is.

Said Edwards:

Even a blind hog finds an acorn every now and then. While I might not agree with David Tyree on anything else, on this single issue, he is absolutely right.

Edward’s “The Political Cesspool”  sponsors include the CCC and the Institute for Historical Review, a leading Holocaust denial organization and its guest roster looks like a Who’s Who of hate and includes: CCC leader Gordon Lee Baum, Holocaust denier Mark Weber, Canadian white supremacist Paul Fromm, American Renaissance editor Jared Taylor, neo-Nazi activist April Gaede, anti-Semitic professor Kevin MacDonald, Stormfront webmaster Jamie Kelso and League of the South president Michael Hill.

Video – "The Sissy Experiment" Part 2 – Confronting George Allan Rekers About The Death Of Kirk Murphy

Anderson Cooper and CNN take a three part look at the tragic death of Kirk Murphy

In 1970, a five-year-old boy named Kirk Murphy was subjected to an ex-gay experiment. Under the care of  George Rekers, , he underwent therapy to eliminate supposed effeminate behaviors.

In 1974, Lovaas and Rekers jointly published a paper about the boy they renamed “Kraig,” heralding his treatment for “childhood cross-gender problems” a success and claiming he had been transformed from a gender-confused homosexual-in-waiting to a healthy, heterosexual young man. On the back of this study, Rekers built a career as an anti-gay activist and a supposed expert in childhood sexual development. He co-founded the officially sanctioned anti-gay hate the Family Research Council and championed “ex-gay” therapy to turn gay men straight.

In 2003, Kirk, aged 38 years old and gay, committed suicide.

In May 2010 George Rekers was exposed for hiring gay male prostitute as a travel companion for a two-week vacation in Europe
