Teabagastan Attacks Alan Grayson Over Burning Cross Tea Party Image – Go Alan Go!

Teabagastan is all in a tizzy over outspoken Congressman Alan Grayson’s most recent fundraising bulletin that uses a burning cross and the words Tea Party on it.  The GOP of all parties is charging that its racially insensitive and needlessly hurtful to the many millions of families that still deal with the wounds of racial prejudice.  Jorge Bonilla, Grayson’s GOP challenger who is trailing greatly in the polls and has strong Tea Party ties (and also blamed President Obama and the Democrats for the three week government shutdown .) thinks that Grayson’s mailer is “disgusting” and that “such times as these call for our elected officials to be uniters.”

Of course Allen West who is guilty of war crimes and intimidation in the past is simply furious because he needs the press.

“Having been born and raised in Georgia, having parents that were born and raised during the 20s and 30s, I remember growing up and seeing that burning cross on a clear night atop of Stone Mountain so that everyone could see it across Atlanta,” West said. “This is despicable. This is demeaning. This is disgusting,” he continued. “We all know that Alan Grayson is pretty much a sensationalist and he can continue to say things that are over the top.” Then he wondered where the civil rights leaders were during this. “But my concern is where is the NAACP and Ben Jealous? Where is the National Urban League and Marc Morial?” he asked.

Grayson has refused to apologize, saying, “If the hood fits, wear it.”

“Members of the Tea Party have engaged in relentless racist attacks against our African-American President,” Grayson said in a statement to WKMG-TV published on Tuesday. “There is overwhelming evidence that the Tea Party is the home of bigotry and discrimination in America today, just as the KKK was for an earlier generation. If the hood fits, wear it.”

“While Tea Party members have been caught using racially-inflammatory language and imagery on multiple occasions, Grayson offered specific examples in a separate interview with the Sentinel. “When the president visited my home of Orlando, Tea Party protesters shouted ‘Kenyan Go Home,’” Grayson told the Sentinel. “Other examples include Tea Party chants of ‘Bye Bye Blackbird’ and Tea Party posters saying ‘Obama’s plan: White Slavery.’ One could go on and on, because there is overwhelming evidence that the Tea Party is the home of bigotry and discrimination in America today, just as the KKK was for an earlier generation.”

So nice to see a Democrat with  balls.

ITS OVER! – Alan West Recount FAILS, Dem Patrick Murphy Declares Victory In FL

Tea Party wingnuts went insane this afternoon thinking that Florida’s St. Lucie County in FL failed to finish their court-ordered recount by today’s noon deadline, prompting Patrick Murphy’s campaign to claim final victory over Rep. Allen West.

Crazed GOP West supporters stormed into the St. Lucie election office screaming, “Count our votes!”  While West’s lawyers  raced to a judge’s office to demand an injunction against the state deadline all for nothing as St. Lucie election officials are saying that the deadline was met and that Patrick Murphy actually gained votes in the recount.

Under Florida law, the final certified results were due from all of the state’s 67 supervisors of elections today. If the results do not arrive on time, the certified unofficial results submitted last Sunday stand. Those results have Murphy winning by 0.58 percent. A spread of less than 0.5 percent would have triggered an automatic recount.  “Today at noon, it became clear Patrick Murphy will be officially certified as the next congressman from the 18th Congressional District,” Anthony Kusich, Murphy for Congressman campaign manager, said in a prepared statement issued around 12:40 p.m. “The voters have spoken and Patrick Murphy is once again the clear winner. It is beyond time to put this campaign behind us and put the interests of the people of the Treasure Coast and Palm Beaches first.”

Murphy campaign senior advisor Eric Johnson was quick to reaffirm victory. “As far as we’re concerned, this puts an end to it,” Johnson said. “The West people demanded a recount. They got that retabulation and Patrick Murphy gained a margin of 242 votes. “This election is over,” Johnson added. Mowery said the final count was 65,841 votes for Murphy and 52,704 for West.

This may signal the end for Alan West.  But Florida is still and will remain to be the laughingstock of the country when it comes to voting regulations and voters rights.

Evil GOP Rep Allen West STILL Won’t Concede, After All “Communist Are Everywhere”

EVIL Rep. Allen “Communists Are Everywhere” West and his army of GOP zombies are refusing to concede while screaming about “voter fraud” and voter”irregularities” in Florida’s St. Lucie Country.

The state issued complete but unofficial results showing Murphy with a lead of 2,442 votes, or 50.4 percent. That’s beyond the half-percent margin needed to trigger an automatic recount. A handful of overseas and military ballots remain outstanding, but under state law the decision for a recount is based on Saturday’s count. West’s campaign insists there are many unanswered questions in the race, mostly centered in St. Lucie County, the only one of three counties in the district that Murphy won. They are concerned that votes were counted twice and have asked to review sign-in books from the polls to ensure the number of voters matched the ballot count. “We’re simply not going to just walk away from the race until we see that the numbers add up,” West campaign manager Tim Edson said. West’s only path forward appears to be through the courts. Under state law, he still could contest the election if misconduct or fraud might have changed its result.

Allen West is nothing more than garbage fighting not to be thrown out to the melodic sounds of his loud sour grape-like protesting.

Anti-gay fuck-stick Uncle Tom Representative Allen West over the past few weeks has made his bigotry and hatred of gay people quite clear. In an interview with the Sun Sentinel West explained that being gay is a choice, you know much like being black, and that being gay is like chocolate chip ice cream.

“Should gay people change their behavior and not be gay?” West replied: “No. I like chocolate chip ice cream and I will continue to like chocolate chip ice cream. So there’s no worry about me changing to vanilla. I like to, you know, ride my motorcycle. What do you want me to do? You want me to change my behavior and ride a scooter? I’m not into that.”
