Scott Lively, who took only 0.9% of the vote last week  in the Massachusetts gubernatorial election sent out victory canards today, to himself today claiming that the “Holy Spirit” limited his campaign activities and that he’s not the “genocidal monster” that the LGBT community makes him out to be.

“I want you to recognize what a great victory we have achieved in this campaign. A Missionary Pastor with an inner-city church that seats just 45, mostly street-people, ran a part-time campaign, serving as his own campaign manager, with only 20-30 campaign volunteers (only about half of whom dedicated more than 40 hours to the effort), and a budget of just over $25,000. Deliberately (by the prompting of the Holy Spirit) limiting his campaign activities only to those public appearances and media interviews to which he was invited (not trying to win the seat in his own strength but staying out of the way to let God pull the strings), he (by conservative accounts) handily won the two major debates in which he appeared, shocked the hosts, audience and fellow panelists in every forum with his boldness and candor, and preached the unvarnished Gospel of Jesus Christ in nearly all of the 30 or so public events in which he appeared. I believe my faithfulness in stepping out into the political arena to preach the gospel has spiritually broken the back of the anti-Lively coalition and demolished its campaign of defamation.  The public has seen me in the debates and other venues and know I am a sincere and kind-hearted Christian man, whether or not they agree with my views.  They will never again believe the vicious LGBT lies trying to paint me as a genocidal monster.  The Lord has vindicated me in an entirely unique way..”

Scott Lively, author of the anti-gay fantasy (or rather Lively’s fantasy about muscular Aryan blond hair, blue eyed Nazi’s) The Pink Swastika, which described being LGBT as a “personality disorder”, and his struggle against equality as “a war” in which only one side can prevail by making up a false history of World War 2 once again re-wrote yesterday re-wrote gay history and blatantly lied at Matt Barber’s hate site, BarbWire,about what REALLY happened the night of the Stonewall Riots in 1969.

Writes Lively:

“On June 28, 1969 the homosexual political movement, which had previously defined its goal as “the right to be left alone,” took a militant turn. At the Stonewall Bar on Christopher Street in New York City, “gay” activists rioted against police who tried to arrest an underage “drag queen” prostitute. That episode of violent rebellion is now commemorated annually as “Gay Pride Day.”
In 1972, two hundred homosexual organizations, representing the entire LGBT movement, met in Chicago to outline their Marcusian agenda: a blueprint for supplanting Biblical morality with sexual anarchy — in essence, the overthrow of family-centered Christian civilization.

In 1973, their “long march through the institutions” began with the political takeover of the American Psychiatric Association (APA) to redefine homosexuality as psychologically healthy.

In 2013, after just forty years, the last secular institution to resist LGBT bullying was finally subdued: the Boy Scouts of America.

Yesterday the Boston Globe reported that  Lively somehow managed to qualifiy to be on the ballot as an independent candidate for the Massachusetts gubernatorial election this fall.

Springfield pastor Scott Lively has qualified for the November ballot as an independent candidate for governor. The Secretary of the Commonwealth’s office confirmed Wednesday that Lively’s campaign submitted 11,494 valid signatures, far above the 10,000 needed to secure ballot access as an independent this fall. Lively joins the future Republican and Democratic nominees as well as independent candidate Evan Falchuk as candidates certified for the November ballot.

Lively bring a whole new meaning to the term MASSHOLE.

Needless to say little sister Mary Cheney and her lesbian wife weren’t amused.

“I was watching my sister-in-law on Fox News Sunday (yes Liz, in fifteen states and the District of Columbia you are my sister-in-law) and was very disappointed to hear her say ‘I do believe in the traditional definition of marriage.’ Liz has been a guest in our home, has spent time and shared holidays with our children, and when Mary and I got married in 2012 – she didn’t hesitate to tell us how happy she was for us. To have her now say she doesn’t support our right to marry is offensive to say the least. I can’t help but wonder how Liz would feel if as she moved from state to state, she discovered that her family was protected in one but not the other. I always thought freedom meant freedom for EVERYONE.” wrote Mary Cheney’s wife  Heather Poe on her Facebook page.

While Mary in an addendum to the above, which she re-posted to her own Facebook page wrote: “Couldn’t have said it better myself.   Liz – this isn’t just an issue on which we disagree – you’re just wrong – and on the wrong side of history.”

Lets remember that Mary Cheney was perfectly content sitting in the back of the bus and ignoring it all while Daddy Lucifer Dick and BelezeBubba  stumped for 8 years on issues to make us second class citizens.

“After long contemplation and prayer I am convinced that I should run for Governor of Massachusetts. I will run as an independent. The people of this state need a candidate who can clearly and unapologetically articulate Biblical values without fear or compromise. They need a candidate who will tell the simple truth that abortion is murder, and homosexuality is condemned by God (but that Jesus forgives and heals those who repent). That parents and not the state have authority over their children, because government is our servant and not our master. That socialism is slavery and humanism breeds corruption. But mostly they need a leader who will remind the people that Massachusetts was founded upon Jesus Christ and the Bible and that our future security and prosperity depend on restoring our trust in Him.” – Scott Lively, in a HYSTERICAL statement published on his personal hatesite.

Lively believes that the Nazi Party were all homosexuals because they were so vicious. And he also takes credit for Russia’s gay “propaganda” ban, launching Oklahoma campaign to legalize anti-gay discrimination, endorses life imprisonment for gay people in Uganda and helped push the “Kill the Gays”law there and is currently being sued for crimes against humanity, and claims to have exploded a Massachusetts strip club with his prayers.

I guess fancies himself as a modern-day Cotton Mather.

Oregon’s Attorney General Rejects Haters Bid To Rewrite Marriage Ban Ballot Measure

The Oregon Family Council, a distant associated cousin of Tony Perkins Family Research Council was delivered a crushing blow today as Oregon’s Attorney General rejected their “absurd” bid to rewrite a proposed 2014 ballot measure to overturn that state’s ban on same-sex marriage.

“The attorney general’s office on Friday announced its final wording on a ballot title  — and it rejected the legal argument from an attorney for the Oregon Family Council that the title should reflect the notion that the initiative would require every governmental agency in Oregon to issue marriage licenses. Basic Rights Oregon, the gay-rights group sponsoring the initiative, has rejected that argument as absurd.  It says county clerks would continue to be the only ones issuing marriage licenses if this initiative is approved by voters.”

Here is the ballot language:

“Amends Constitution: Recognizes marriage between couples of same gender; protects clergy/religious institutions’ refusal to perform marriages.”

I personally find absurd that it  “protects clergy/religious institutions’ refusal to perform marriages.” what gay couple in their right mind would want to be married in a hateful church.
