QAnon Kook’s Latest Conspiracy: The COVID-19 Vaccine Makes You GAY!

Via Metro Weekly:

Followers of the QAnon conspiracy theory are reportedly embracing the idea that the COVID-19 vaccine can make people gay.

It’s a claim previously shared by conservative religious figures, including an ultra-Orthodox rabbi in Israel and an Islamic cleric in Iran, who told their followers not to accept a coronavirus vaccine because those who have it “become homosexuals.”

Shayan Sardarizadeh, a reporter for the BBC, tweeted screenshots this week showing QAnon supporters on messaging app Telegram endorsing the conspiracy theory.

If you want me you can find me waiting for Chris Hemsworth to receive his vaccine.

  1. There is so much wrong with this theory that I don’t even know where to start…

These people still insist, in 2021, that people “become” gay or transsexual for an external reason, whatever this one the reason may be. When are they going to understand that someone’s sexual orientation and gender identity is part of their innate identity?

It is in these moments that I realize how much we still need to fight.

  2. Hi,

Sad for the community to read an other discrimination exemple with that article. But i’m happy to see that people continue to write about theses terrible moments.
