Quarantine Thirst Quencher: How to Make the Perfect Lemon Drop Cocktail

Miss going to a bar or restaurant and getting a cocktail? Sick of beer or wine or god forbid “hard” canned beverages?

Well now you can become your own perfect bartender with this easy and thirst quenching Lemon Drop cocktail recipe just in time for summer.

Ingredients

2 cups vodka which has been kept in the freezer

1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

1/2 cup superfine sugar

1 lemon, thinly sliced

Ice

Combine the vodka, lemon juice, and sugar and pour into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously, strain and pour into traditional martini glasses (or any glass that strikes your fancy) and garnish with thin lemon slices. Optional: Before pouring the contents of the shaker into the glass. rub the rim of the glass with another lemon slice and dip into sugar for that classy look.

And there you have it the perfect lemon drop!
