The Florida Times-Union reports:
Beatrice Palmer cleared her schedule for Friday evening. Among a typical busy week of drag gigs, she planned to make an appearance at a prom night before her next show. The local drag entertainer and producer wanted to be there for the 100 teenagers who signed up to attend the Storybook Pride Prom at Riverside’s Willowbranch Library dressed as their favorite book characters or in drag Friday night.
After the Jacksonville Public Library canceled the night of music, dancing and costumes Monday morning, Palmer wants to reschedule the event. The decision came Monday morning after the library received hundreds of phone calls supporting and protesting the Storybook Pride Prom. Hundreds commented on and shared the library’s Facebook post canceling the dance to express their disappointment.
Elizabeth Johnston, a popular blogger and author who goes by “The Activist Mommy,” asked her hundreds of thousands of Facebook followers in a post Friday to call Willow branch and “express your disgust that this perversion is taking place in a taxpayer funded library.” Johnston did not return the Times-Union’s request for comment before publication.
Johnson used Facebook as a major tool in her attack by doxing the library and publishing its phone number . Facebook would not respond or remove the reported posts from Back2Stonewall. Harassment, bullying, and hate speech are all against Facebook’s terms of service.
Said Johnson:
Christians have been complacent, tolerant, and silent for far too long. If you love the citizens of our nation, if you love the children and the drag queens and the gay pride dancers, then you will fight for a world where this sin is no longer promoted.

I think Elizabeth Johnson’s Address & Home Telephone Number should be Published on Facebook. It is not considered hate speech in my opinion. If what she published wasn’t considered the same. She is promoting hate and bigotry. It needs to stop somewhere and we need to fight fire with fire to show these pseudo christians, they can’t control everyone’s freedom if it isn’t aligned with their feelings and thoughts. It is time to let others know, we aren’t sitting down and taking this anymore. Facebook has no right or real reason to take that info down if they didn’t take down her post. That’s my opinion… Please keep up the good job of keeping us informed. Thank you…

She and her husband Patrick, who is a medical doctor, speak at conferences and events and lead a pro-life ministry to rescue children from abortion. Elizabeth homeschools her 10 beautiful children and assists her husband with his many wild and ambitious projects. Elizabeth met her husband Patrick while obtaining her music and education degrees in Florida. Patrick and Elizabeth have been married for 19 years and have been best friends for 22 years after meeting in church during their college years. Elizabeth’s favorite things in life are watching her hubby wrestle with their kids in the living room floor, a clean house, Diet Sunkist, seeing her children succeed at life, and leading worship with her very musical family. The pulse behind everything Elizabeth does is her love for Jesus Christ, who saved her from her sin during her teenage years and launched her on a very unpredictable journey of service to Him, which has included foreign missions, orphanage ministry, outreach to kids in troubled inner-city areas, backyard bible clubs, street ministry, pro-life rescue ministry, public speaking, producing a movie, and homeschooling her ever-growing family.
It amazes me that these people call themselves “GOOD” Christians. I do not think they even know the definition of the word. Merriam -Webster defines Christian as:
Christian noun
Chris·tian | \ ˈkris-chən , ˈkrish-\
Definition of Christian
1a : one who professes belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ
I don’t think Christ said to love this guy and hate that guy. I don’t think Christ would condone people like this woman’s idea about what a Christian is actually . What would I know though. I was born an Irish -Catholic now I am A GAY american you know..you evolve.
Like you people even know what true Christianity is. A good Christian stands up for Biblical moral values regardless of whether they are perceived to hateful. The Christians who adopt a “if it feels and good and doesn’t harm anyone, do it” attitude towards sexuality are in the wrong. I feel sorry for them because they have been deceived.
