Music Legend Little Richard “Goes In”: Praise Grilled Cheesus “I’m not gay no more!’

Rock and Roll legend 84-year-old singer, Little Richard who in a 1995 interview with Penthouse magazine declared: “I’ve been gay all my life and I know God is a God of love, not of hate.”who was sans his signature wig and make-up, shared that he is dedicating his last years on Earth to living “like Jesus.” Has done a very un-Tutti Frutti about saying that he is dedicating his last years on Earth to living “like Jesus.” And also that ‘I’m not gay no more!’

In an interview with 3ABN:

“Anybody come in show business, they’re going to say you’re gay. Are you straight? Are you a homosexual something? They’re going to say it. But God, Jesus, he made men, men, he made women, women, you know? And you’ve got to live the way God wants you to live.”

You know, all these things. So much unnatural affection. So much of people just doing everything and don’t think about God. Don’t want no parts of him.

Regardless of whatever you are, he loves you. I don’t care what you are. He loves you and he can save you. All you’ve got to do is say, ‘Lord, take me as I am. I’m a sinner.’ But we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. The only holy, righteous person is Jesus and he wants us to be just like him because, in order to go to Heaven, we’ve got to look like him,” Richard said. “I don’t want to sing rock and roll no more. … I want to be holy like Jesus”

Be sure to check out Little Richards new song. “I’m Going In” to be released soon by WTF Records.

  1. Little Richard has always had a wishy-wasn’t relationship with the LGBT community, starting with years and years of public and probably self denial, despite what was visible to any fan’s eyes. It is understandable for someone from his era when it was never talked about and even worse, a genuine career killer. It’s also not unusual for people if his age to have to confront their relationship to death and out of fear or whatever other reason to think about an afterlife particularly if brought up in a strict religious tradition to which one may turn back to in one’s isolation or living circumstances, for example, at this point in one’s life. I was hoping this would turn out to be just a marketing gimmivk–but I guess not!
