I don’t think we should practice exclusion. Keeping the LGBT cops out is wrong.

  2. Jim Elliott says:

The police attitude towards our community has improved since 1969 in many if not most cities in North America. Honoring LGBTQ cops in a Pride parade is right.

  3. As a Stonewaller and knowing that Marsha Johnson & others have stated that Sylvia was nodding off in Tompkins Square in the East Village that first night; this is just nitpicking! The GOAL members are not the police from nearly 50 years ago who were part of a NY State Alcohol Board enforcement unit that raided the Stonewall.! Even the local precinct police were unaware of the raid!
Someone desperately needs to read what historical sources there are before starting this kind of bullshit, imho!

“The petition started on by Andrew Spiers of Philadelphia who self identifies as a middle class, queer, transmasculine person” ………..He sounds more liike a circus side show freak. He needs to grow a pair or just grow the fluck up.

This situation could easily be resolved by the basic tenets of common courtesy. The Parade Committee has issued invitations, those invited can accept or decline. No group can demand the inclusion or exclusion of any other invitee. People who are unhappy with the guest list are free to decline the invitation.
