Quote of the Day – Singer Gwen Stefani: ‘I Would Be Blessed With a Gay Son’

Gwen Stefani: 'I Would Be Blessed With a Gay Son'

In a recent  interview for PrideSource, singer Gwen Stefani pledged full support should one of her sons — Kingston, 9, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 2 — come out to her as gay one day.

“I would be blessed with a gay son. I just want my boys to be happy and healthy, and I just ask God to guide me every day to be a good mother because it is not an easy job. I always ask my gay friends, ‘OK, so what was it like when you were a little boy?,'” she said.

Stefanie continues that her goal is “to be the most supportive mom that I can be.”

During the interview, Stefani, expressed the importance of letting her kids be themselves. “As long as my boys are protected and happy and I’m spending quality time with them, whether it’s doing sports or doing nails, it really doesn’t matter,” she said.
