Roland Emmerich’s “Stonewall” Gets Award Nomination From The Gay and Lesbian Entertainment Critics Association

Stonewall Movie

The Big Short, Brooklyn, Carol, Mad Max: Fury Road and Spotlight have been nominated for the Best Film of the Year Award by the Gay and Lesbian Entertainment Critics Association, which is comprised of more than 130 critics and entertainment writers, as it unveiled nominees for its Dorian Awards on Tuesday.

But you know what else was nominated for an award?

This years flick that everyone loved to hate Stonewall by Roland Emmerich!’

That’s right the movie that was accused it of “whitewashing” and “trans-erasing”  LGBT history by those who hi-jacked and re-wrote LGBT history for their own political agenda!

Stonewall was nominated in the “Campy Flick of the Year. “category and will go up against JoLo’s The Boy Next Door, Channing Tatum’s abs in Magic Mike XXL, Jamie Dorman’s abs in Fifty Shades of Grey, and again Channing Tatum’s abs and pointy ears in  Jupiter Ascending.

Dorian winners will be announced Jan.19, and the group will hold its annual Winners Toast in Los Angeles on March 6th.
