OUTRAGE!: Google Releases “Shoot The Gays” Game App Named “Ass Hunter” – UPDATE
Google has an app content policy that bans ‘depictions of gratuitous violence’ and ‘materials that threaten, harass or bully other users. Well you wouldn’t know it by the revolting and violently homophobic game app uploaded to the Google App Store that allows players to shoot gay men dead as its objective.
The game known as Ass Hunter has been around since 2006 in other more dubious venues but yesterday it was uploaded to the Google Play app store
Popular game hunting on gays is now on android! Play and do not be gay!Legendary game, where you are hunter and your mission is to kill gays as much as you can or escape between them to the next level. Gays may be hidden in bushes and unexpectedly catch you.
Remember! When they catch you they will do with you whatever they want 😉
Toronto-based writer, Travis Myers, called the presence of Ass Hunter on the Google Play store ‘abhorrent.’
‘While it is just an app there is absolutely no ambiguity about the homophobic intent of this game — this is a game for people who fantasize about killing gay people,’ he said.
‘Google has affirmed its status as an LGBTQ ally many times in the past but I think the fact that this game was uploaded and available on their App Store means they can and should do better to support gay rights, especially in light of recent high profile cases of homophobic violence around the world.’
It’s outrageous that Google would host such a anti-gay app. Especially since Googles Terms of Service includes a hate speech clause that forbids ‘advocating against groups of people based on their… sexual orientation/gender identity.’
PLEASE go to the GOOGLE Play Ass Hunter Game page and leave feedback and comments and lets get this repugnant and homophobic app be removed as soon as possible.
Google should be ashamed of itself.

UPDATE: The offensive game was taken down by Google.com earlier this morning after numerous complaints but not before it was downloaded at least 5000 times.
