UNEMPLOYED! – Tennessee Anti-Gay Lawmaker Stacey Campfield Gets His Ass Kicked In Primary.

Campfield is gay

Tennessee’s most rabid anti-gay state lawmaker, known for pushing the most extreme anti-gay legislation and making remarks that made even members of his own party cringe, LOST his primary battle on Thursday.

State Sen. Stacey Campfield (R) was soundly defeated in the state’s District 7 ,getting only 28 percent of the vote. Cardiac surgeon Richard Briggs won the primary with a whopping 66 percent.

Campfield once inaccurately made comments about the origins of AIDS in an interview on SiriusXM OutQ with host Michelangelo Signorile, who is also the editor-at-large of HuffPost Gay Voices.

“Most people realize that AIDS came from the homosexual community — it was one guy screwing a monkey, if I recall correctly, and then having sex with men. It was an airline pilot, if I recall,” he said.

But Campfield became most widely known for sponsoring legislation in 2011 that was referred to as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill, which would have made it illegal for teachers to discuss homosexuality with students in kindergarten through the eighth grade. Campfield has repeatedly attempted to pass the legislation, but it has not become law.

Campfield is 46, unmarried, and  spends 100% of his time thinking about gay sex and will soon be appearing at a rest-stop near you.

  1. Yet another frustrated closet (religious hypocrite) case who probably has a thousand porn dvds but is scared to jack off in fear of hair growing on his palms or of going to hell. So sad…he is really missing out. Would love to get him in a hotel room just me and him and I can change his mind about the world in an hour. His first problem is that awful name he somehow got stuck with Stacy….man I can hear the bullies going at him everyday in jr high.
