GOOGLE Exposed: GOOGLE Joins ALEC, Funds GOP Extremist – Don’t Be Evil My Ass

Google Evil

Proving that Google’s famous “Don’t Be Evil” motto is nothing more than a  load of cyber horseshit.

Google, it turns out will be this years main attraction at this year’s American Legislative Exchange Council summit in Washington, D.C. otherwise known as ALEC, the shady extreme right-wing  lobbying group that helps companies and conservative foundations write bills for Republican state legislators and is infamous for its work on behalf of “stand your ground” laws and restrictions on voting rights .

Google’s top lobbyist, former GOP (of course) Republican Rep. Susan Molinari, refuses to answer why the company has joined ALEC

ALEC’s summit agenda this year includes among other things:  efforts to fight EPA limits on greenhouse pollution, to roll back the Seventeenth Amendment, to block food-origin labeling and to eliminate public unions.

ALEC has a very nasty anti-LGBT agenda and past.

In a newly discovered 1985 policy memo entitled “Homosexuals: Just Another Minority Group”  ALEC’s memo includes false claims and outrageous stereotypes  arguing that the “homosexual movement has had an impact too great and far reaching for Americans to ignore.” ALEC asserted that the gay community was organizing “to achieve the privileges it thinks it deserves.” It also classified all gay people into six categories: “the blatant, the secret lifer, the desperate, the adjusted, the bisexual and the situational.

The “blatant” gay person was “obvious and ‘limp-wristed’”; the “adjusted” would “try to conduct a ‘conventional’ gay marriage”; and so on.  Yet no matter what category a gay person fell into, ALEC argued, the most dominant practice within “the homosexual world is pedophilia, the fetish for young children.” This tendency, the group claimed, was the product of the fact that “the homosexual cannot reproduce themselves biologically, so they must recruit the young.”

And THIS is the group that Google whose motto is “Don’t Be Evil” joins and supports?

But the pièce de résistance has to be that Google donated $12,500 to the campaign fund of Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, the man who wants to deny millions of people healthcare that cannot afford it and who shut down the Government and cost this country billions of dollars and caused heartache and headaches to so many for doing so.

Don’t be evil my ass.
