Democratic Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley hoped to turn heads in New Hampshire this weekend a midst  early speculation of an attempt at e 2016 presidential run against a certain someone who should have been the Democratic nominee for President in 2008.  (TAKE YOUR SHIRT OFF MARTIN  YOU DILF!!  That will do it!)

The 50 year old and stunningly fit O’Malley focused his attention on public safety, and by implementing crime response reform, violent crimes in Baltimore were reduced by nearly 40%. As Governor, in 2011 he signed a law that would make certain undocumented immigrants eligible for in-state college tuition on condition; and in 2012, he signed a law to legalize same-sex marriage in Maryland.

O’Malley appeared in the film Ladder 49 as himself. The History Channel‘s documentary First Invasion: The War of 1812 featured O’Malley in a segment regarding the British attack on Baltimore in 1814. He’s also a musician and was active in several bands and as a solo act in the Washington and Baltimore areas starting in the early 80s.  Today besides being a kickass progressive Governor, Mark O’Malley moonlights as the vocalist/guitarist/songwriter of Celtic rock band “O’Malley’s March” and plays gigs around the Baltimore/DC area.
