WE WIN! – Universal Studios Cancels Homophobic Bill & Ted Halloween Show

Bill and Ted Orlando

Universal Studios Hollywood which has historically been considered an LGBT-friendly company has crossed the bad taste and sensitivity line with the premiere of their annual Halloween event titled “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Halloween Adventure.”  which included a gay limp wristed lisping Superman and a segment in which he gets gay bashed by another character.

After much public outrage from the LGBT communit and push-back Universal Studios has decided to cancel the show.

A statement on the Universal Halloween Horror Nights webpage now reads:

After thoughtful consideration, Universal Studios Hollywood has made the decision to discontinue production of the Halloween Horror Nights’ “Bill & Ted” show for the remainder of its limited run.

Of course GLAAD is trying to take responsibility because you know the thousands of enraged phone calls and emails from us had nothing to do with it.
