Dominican Cardinal calls US Ambassador faggot

Openly gay DNC co-chair Wally Brewster one of six openly gay men that the President Obama has nominated to be US ambassadors is under attack from the extreme right Catholic Church of the Dominican Republic where he will be stationed if his nomination passes the Senate.

Last week Catholic Cardinal Nicolás de Jesús López Rodríguez went so far as to refer to Brewster as a “maricón”

“Catholic Cardinal Nicolás de Jesús López Rodríguez referred to Brewster as a “maricón” — which is usually translated as “faggot” — during a press conference. At his side, Monseñor Pablo Cedano promised the nominee such an unpleasant stay in the country that he will have to return home. “I hope he does not arrive in the country because I know if he comes he is going to suffer and will have to leave,” Cedano said. He called it “a lack of respect” that Obama “sent … a person of this kind as an ambassador,” adding, “[W]e don’t despise the person.”

Can’t you just  feel the “love,” “dignity,” and “respect” the RCC alway says they have for gay folks.

Cardinal Nicolás de Jesús López Rodríguez, or Nic the Prick as he likes to be called obviouly attended the seminar given by his good friend and pedophile protector Cardinal Timothy Dolan entitled, ” We welcome and love all gay people

  1. Matthew 5:22 (KJV): “But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.”

Name-calling is out, per the Bible. Some scholars suggest that “Raca” was a homophobic insult.

  2. Well, if you are dealing with a nation of monkeys, you are bound to have excrement thrown at you. Oh, sorry, was that racist?

What do you think?
