For decades Liza Minnelli has been a champion for LGBT rights and a gay icon. Now insteading of lending her heavenly voice she’s using her face, a symbol of gay culture to stop hate and spread love and support through the NoH8 campaign. Here’s more:
Liza Minnelli has always been an outspoken advocate of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community, but the stage and screen icon went an extra step this week by posing for the NOH8 campaign in support of same-sex marriage.
“Here’s what I believe…no shame, no blame, no guilt,” the Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony-winning star said in an email statement after her photo was unveiled. “Be happy. And be who you are. I love you.”
Thanks Liza for all the support.
