    The coalition behind the event has, in fact, released a statement two days ago which seems to acknowledge that this incident did occur (as well as at least one other incident it regrets), though without naming HRC specifically as the organization whose employee/volunteer asked the individual to remove the trans flag:

    Thanks for the information. You’re right though, they were incredibly vague in who asked GetEQUAL members to remove their flag. Hopefully I’ll hear a response from one or both organizations. If I do, I’ll definitely pass it on! Thanks for reading and commenting!
