Chelsea Welch the server at a St. Louis Applebee’s who earlier this week posted an online a picture of a receipt left by sanctimonious cheapskate “Pastor” Alois Bell has been fired.
“Pastor” Bell of the St. Louis-based and anti-gay Truth in the World Deliverance Ministries who refused to pay the 18% gratuity that was tacked on to her check for dining with a large party by writing “”I give God 10% why do you get 18,”
Bell has admitted to writing the note on the check to the server saying “My heart is really broken,” the 37-year-old told The Smoking Gun. “I’ve brought embarrassment to my church and ministry.” and said that it was “lapse in my character and judgment” that “has been blown out of proportion.” But of course that didn’t stop her from calling the restaurant and demanding that Chelsea and everyone else involved be fired. And Applebees not only bowed to Bell but also apologized, offered her gift cards and to have a brand new staff awaiting her the next time she dined at her neighborhood Applebee’s
Applebee’s claims it fired Chelsea Welch for violating a customers privacy by posting the receipt online but Applebee’s itself does the same thing when a customer leave a positive notes.
This created a fury of rage on the Internet, with social media users taking to their weapons of choice and lambasting away, thousands at a time, against the restaurant’s decisions. Numerous “Boycott Applebee’s” groups sprung up on Facebook, along with “Rehire Chelsea Welch” and other similar groups. Applebee’s website has a “What’s the Buzz” widget, that shows what people are saying on Twitter about the company. None of it good.
I’ve been a waiter and bartender in the past and its a thankless underpaid job. The uber-religious use this scheme constantly masquerade their cheapness as piety and leaving religious tracts instead of tips. If there wasn’t some degree of self-awareness attached to pulling that kind stunt, then people like the very godly Pastor Bell who demands that people get fired wouldn’t get so upset when their con is exposed.
Also much of the blame lies on Applebee’s and other restaurants that refuse to pay their waitstaff a living wage and pay the lest mandated by the Department of Labor $3.63/hr. When all is said and done the government assumes that waitstaff is tipped at 20% and takes 8% out of their wages. To tip only 10% of the bill, means, that the server is actually to PAYING for the customer to eat.
Stand up for Chelsea Welch, and let Applebee’s know they suck.
And as for Pastor Alois Bell. If you don’t want to tip go to McDonalds and enjoy your Dollar Value Menu meal.

Applebee’s Waitress Fired for Posting No Tip Receipt Left by Cheapskate Pastor
Had lunch with two friends last year a minister & a pastor,
We overheard our server saying Christians are a disaster,
They are nasty, never tip and are very mean to their kids,
So, I am not surprised at what this so called pastor did.
The pastor even called her over to invite her to his church,
But she worked on Sunday’s seeing first hand all the dirt,
There is a reason churches are folding and tithes are down,
Since many church leaders in public perform like clowns.
“Give and it will be given to you, good measure pressed down,”
Luke 6:38 says when you give God make’s the return abound,
“Knowing that whatsoever good… the same he shall receive,”
This verse in Ephesians 6:8 tells what to expect and believe.
For a pastor to use God as reason for not conforming to rules,
Kind of makes the pulpit seem like it’s run by a bunch of fools,
In public, if you cannot get men & women of God to conform,
Any wonder why children act like idiots wherever they perform?
Politicians are campaigning for an office when they are elected,
Yet pastors through exceptional behavior are otherwise selected,
This waitress posted the receipt online and was promptly fired,
Shame on Applebee’s, Assistant Manager, she should be hired.
The church congregation who should dismiss Pastor Alois Bell,
What kind of testimony does this represent whenever you tell?
Your flock to promote Christianity for new converts to attract,
But in likewise circumstances you will throw down and attack.
Obviously impersonating a pastor in St. Louis is not real crime,
Because if it was, this phony clergy would be doing real time,
Applebee’s adds a mandatory gratuity to every single receipt,
Pastor had to humble herself before her church for her deceit.
“Embarrassment to my church and ministry,” caused by whom?
Not by server Chelsea Welch as Applebee’s lowered the boom,
They pacified an angry customer & fired a dedicated employee,
Mathematically it amounts to 18% for Satan, 0% for the ministry.
I’ll be sending along a few dollars to Chelsea, but not because she is a martyr for the idealistic left. I will be assisting because she has taken responsibility for her actions and is not being a whiney victim mentality cultist.
The kid made a mistake. She knows it.
Wish her many misguided supporters who use her cause as means to express their hatred of religion and personal responsibility saw it like Chelsea does.
Chelsea is smart. Many of her supporters are stupid.
