With rumours of an Ab Fab movie being rife for months – now that Jennifer Saunders has finished writing and promoting the Spice Girls musical Joanna Lumly has confirmed that Jennifer Saunders is indeed in the process of writing the film script and that there will definitely be an AB FAB Movie.

“We’ve talked about it, Jennifer [Saunders] is writing the film,” Lumley told The Telegraph. “Although yesterday the press were saying it’s a musical now! But whatever it is, I’ll be there.”

The series which has been HUGELY popular with the LGBT community has been revived for several one-off episodes since ending its run in 2003, including various seasonal and Comic Relief specials featuring everyone from Stella McCartney to Kate Moss.

Now all we have to do is grab the Bolly, some nibbly bits and wait.
