I’ll keep this one really short because right now, all eyes are on America’s elections so I wanted to share some good news. In relation to the four states voting on marriage equality, court officials in Spain met on Tuesday and dedcided to uphold a decision permitting same sex marriage in their country. In a 8 to 3 vote, an appeal to have marriage equality was dismissed. The measure, introduced by conservative group, Popular Party, despite the high approval for marriage equality in the country.
The Parliament of Spain passed the measure back in 2005 and is the third country to uniformly approve same sex marriage Congrats Spain! I hope to see some good results here in the US.
