The NFL in a billion-dollar deal switched to Nike as its uniform supplier after 10 years with Reebok, and the new line made its debut as the regular season got underway.
Nike’s BIG media push has focused on the functionality, and that includes the use of roughly a dozen different fabrics on a single uniform to maximize ventilation, durability and comfort.
But there were some unintended (?) consequences with the multi-fabric concept.
