Republican Party Allows FRC Hate Group President Tony Perkins To Write Anti-Gay Platform Language

Family Research Council hate group President Tony Perkins is all aflutter that he has personally written the portion of the Republican National Party platform which opposes same-sex marriage.  Perkins’ also calls for an anti-gay marriage amendment to the U.S. Constitution, a position endorsed by GOProud’s candidate, Mitt Romney

Perkins told BuzzFeed:You should read the entire plank on marriage, which I wrote. I feel very happy about it. I feel pretty optimistic about the outcome here.” Calling out “an activist judiciary,” the draft document blasts “court-ordered redefinition of marriage” before taking on the Obama administration. “We oppose the Administration’s open defiance of this principle [of separation of powers] — in its handling of immigration cases, in federal personnel benefits, in allowing a same-sex marriage at a military base, and in refusing to defend DOMA in the courts,” the draft states. Finally, after praising the benefits of marriage, the draft documents state, “[W]e believe that marriage, the union of one man and one woman must be upheld as the national standard, a goal to stand for, encourage, and promote through laws governing marriage.”

Perhaps Perkins could call on his old friend and KKK Grand Imperial Wizard David Duke and the two of them can include something in there about taking away rights from non-white and non- Christian persons also.

 Zieg Heil for Jesus!

  1. No one is taking away anyone’s rights. Marriage has a definition and it is between one man and one woman. About 30 states have changed their constitutions to reflect this and that would indicate that the majority feel that way. If you want majority rule. Who sets the standard, the majority, the minority, the individual?

    1. NO ONES CIVIL RIGHTS SHOULD BE PUT UP TO A VOTE. Read your Constitution. ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL – Should interacial marriage have been voted on? The Civil Rights Act of 1965 which by the way gives protections against religious presecutionn and discrimination. Plain and simple.

Now get off my site you bigoted bitch.
