In a surpising turn of events, bigoted owner of the dry tasteless chicken Chick-Fil-A Dan Cathy reportedly had a meeting with campus leaders to discuss diversity in the workplace. Keep in mind that the source of who gave the information is unidentified as they may or may not have clearance to do so yet.

The meeting allegedly took place yesterday very discreetly and sources are reporting that Cathy was looking for resolution to his asinine words earlier this year, possibly ready to make amends? Here’s what’s being said now about this covert meeting:

“welcomed campus leaders to a private luncheon in Atlanta on Thursday to discuss diversity, hospitality and the opportunity to find common ground.”

Also, here’s a reminder of Cathy’s now infamous statement about how his bigoted company has rich moral integrity:

“We are very much supportive of the family — the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that…we know that it might not be popular with everyone, but thank the Lord, we live in a country where we can share our values and operate on biblical principles.”

Sources are reporting differnt accounts of why Cathy met with campus leaders, if in fact the meeting took place at all. The Advocate is reporting that Cathy meet discuss  LGBT issues so honestly it could have been about anything.

I wonder if Cathy discussed the money that he’s donated to hate groups and will he continue to do so? Has he seen the light and the error of his way, ready to make amends or is this story around just to cluck with us? i’m very skeptical so I say take it all with a HUGE grain of salt until more concrete information comes to the surface.
