  1. OMG I LOVED HIS BOOKS, but now I feel horribly betrayed. I want to burn his work now! I AM NOT seeing his movie, knowing that the profits will be used AGAINST MARRIAGE EQUALITY in the US and promoting a delusional religious agenda.

All those books will now be filed away, never to be seen again. I wish I could get a refund. How awful. Now I nee to research an author regarding his civil rights position before investing my time/money/etc before purchasing the book. How boring and how to be a bore. A movie? Really?

Or buy a ticket for another movie and sneak in if you can’t resist.

  3. Saw this coming. It’s all over his books. I do think there is some sense in boycotting the movie since upwards of 10% of Card’s take will go to the LDS church, which funds a multitude of anti-LGBT groups. Not to mention any voluntary donations. Perhaps the gays on staff in production can… ya know… wink wink nudge nudge… make it a flop?Nah I’m just kidding. His own bullshit will come back to bite him in the ass, if he lives that long, and he has the opportunity to recant. Otherwise his legacy, the reception of his art by future generations, will be what suffers. Perhaps that’s a bad enough fate for someone SO egotistical. Nevertheless, I’m disappointed that someone so imaginative would allow their view to remain so narrow.

  4. Anon says:

I do hope the FBI puts out a warrant for his immediate arrest for making a threat to the US because he feels that gay marriage is wrong.

What do you think?
