Some people are just sooooo unaware. And it seems none so as much as the Boone Pizza Ranch which has named it’s “chicken” hawk salad after Rick Santorum.
The Boone Pizza Ranch is a regular stop on the GOP stomping and scarfing campaign tour and all of the looney candidates who call themselves “Christian” in the race have visited one of the chain’s restaurants at some point during the campaign. Keith Prange, assistant manager of the Pizza Ranch and the maker of the salad asked Rick Santorum on Monday if he liked it and so after Little Ricky said yes he named the dish after him. (Prague is ironically a Democrat, and a clueless one at that, but one would think spitting in the salad would be a better idea.)
“A lot of people ask about the economy and the threat of Iran and about military aid and maybe about social issues, whether it be abortion rights or something else. I don’t care about those things, I care about what you think about my damn salad,” Prange said. “Candidates get endorsed all the time, you know, the Register endorses Romney, but if he endorses our salad it’s kind of a switch-up,”
