PHOTO: Family Research Council’s Tony Perkins Speaking At A White Supremacist Organization Meeting

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again but this time with a photographic evidence that Tony Perkins, President of the Anti-Gay Hate Group and GOP embraced Family Research Council has ties not only to the David Duke of the Ku Klux Klan but also to other “white nationalist/supremacist” organizations

The photo above shows Perkins in 1996 speaking at a meeting of the Council of Conservative Citizens. which the  [Southern Poverty Law Center] SPLC characterizes  as a “white nationalist” organization, and has reported that the group is “the reincarnation of the racist White Citizens Councils of the 1950s and 1960s.” The CCC declares in its statement of principles:

We also oppose all efforts to mix the races of mankind, to promote non-white races over the European-American people through so-called “affirmative action” and similar measures, to destroy or denigrate the European-American heritage, including the heritage of the Southern people, and to force the integration of the races.

This is the man who the GOP embraces.  This is the man who mainstream media outlets like MSNBC, CNN and others run to for “Christian Conservative” commentary on Political and LGBT Equality issues.  And yet NEVER have theycxhb questioned his ties to white supremacist organizations and thier leaders.
