Would you like a side order of HATE with your chicken sandwhich?

Despite Chick-Fil-A’s President and CEO Dan Cathy’s denials and lies that Chick-Fil-A was NOT anti-gay we have always known that the  “Christian” chicken sandwich makers were in bed with Focus on the Family and other anti-gay organizations but we never knew the the true extent of thier donations. 

Equality matters has unearthed new IRS 990 forms reveal that the company donated nearly two million dollars to anti-gay groups in 2009 alone, the most recent year for which public records are available. (This is NOT counting the more than $1.1 million Chick-Fil-A gave to anti-LGBT groups between 2003 and 2008)

The anti-gay groups Chick-Fil-A donated to includes : Exodus International which promotes “Ex-Gay” therapy, the designated anti-gay hate group the Family Research Center,  Phyllis Schafly’s anti-gay Mormon founded Eagle Forum , and of course Focus on the Family.
