Rick Santorum Is Deaf, Dumb And A Liar: “I Never Heard Any Booing”

Last Thursday night at the FOX – GOOGLE Republican presidential debate in Orlando, Stephen Hill, a soldier stationed in Iraq, asked  Rick Santorum via video about the recent repeal of the 1993 law that banned gay military personnel from serving openly in the military Hill said that he had to “lie about who I was because I’m a gay soldier. I didn’t want to lose my job.”

After his video ended, loud boos were immediately heard from a number of people in the audience.  And Rick Santorum immediately answered the question by saying the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” provision  should be reinstated.

Fast forward 48 hours and after much anger by many to not only the audiences booing of Hill but also the GOP candidates acceptance of it Rick Santorum now says that he didn’t hear any booing at all because he was “concentrating”.

“I condemn the people who booed that gay soldier. That soldier is serving our country, I thank him for his service to our country. I’m sure he’s doing an excellent job. I hope he is safe, and I hope he returns safely, and does his mission well. I have to admit, I seriously did not hear those boos. Had I heard them, I certainly would have commented on them. But as you know, when you’re in that sort of environment, you’re focused on the question and formulating your answer. And I just didn’t hear those couple of boos that were out there. But certainly, had I, I would have said that that was — I would have said, don’t do that, this man is serving our country, and we are to thank him for his service.” – Rick Santorum,

Of course Frothy The Santorum Man is full of shit when he says that didn’t hear the booing because fellow GOP candidate and debater Former New Mexico governor Gary Johnson  had no problem at all  hearing the “booing.” But unfortunately Johnson who is the most gay-friendly of the entire GOP presidential field (supposedly)was afraid to say anything at the time.

“If I have one regret from last evening, it’s that I didn’t stand up and say, you know, you’re booing a U.S. serviceman who is denied being able to express his sexual preference,” he said. “There’s something very, very wrong with that.” Johnson said he was “chomping at the bit” to respond to the audience, but he was reticent to speak out due to his exclusion from the recent debates. “I’m feeling a little bit like I’m walking on egg shells,” he said. He told Sharpton he believes the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, which went into effect on Sept. 20, should have been done “a long time ago.”

Thats the GOP party folks.  Santorium a homophobic bigoted liar and Johnson a chickenshit GOP candidate who’s too afraid to say anything to the teabaggers.
