BREAKING! – Joe Solmonese To Leave The Human Rights Campaign In December – Champers Anyone?

Pam Spaulding over at Pam’s House Blend is reporting that on Tuesday it will be announced that that Joe Solmonese, overpaid President of the Human Rights Campaign, the largest national lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender civil rights organization in the country, will announce his departure next Tuesday. Solmonese will reportedly step down from the organization in December of this year.

Its no secret that I am no fan of the simpering overpaid $350,000 a year Solmonese who has no backbone and has let HRC become nothing more than a crumb catcher for the Democratic Party and who’s refusal to push the LGBT Agenda for the first 2 years of Obama’s years in the White House and constant covering for him proved to be a huge mistake and detrimental to the LGBT Community.

One can hope that this is the beginning of a majot shake-up at the HRC, but I’m not holding my breath.

Solmonese who’s favorable rating in the LGBT Community is comprable to John Boehners in Congress is most probably taking the money and running.

Either way good riddance to bad rubbish.

Solmonese leaving will not solve HRC;s problems.  Lets see who they hire as the next President and see if they have learned any lessons over the past

  1. He drove HRC into the ground. They went from an organization fighting for our equal rights to one that just accepted whatever the politicians offered them. He was a sell out and he should have been fired two years ago.

What do you think?
