Kohler’s selective quote from the S&P debt downgrade is a perversion of the truth.
Here is the main S&P conclusion, rather than the p.4 snippet chosen by Kohler:
“We lowered our long-term rating on the U.S. because we believe that the prolonged controversy over raising the statutory debt ceiling and the related fiscal policy debate indicate that further near-term progress containing the growth in public spending, especially on entitlements, or on reaching an agreement on raising revenues is less likely than we previously assumed and will remain a contentious and fitful process. We also believe that the fiscal consolidation plan that Congress and the Administration agreed to this week falls short of the amount that we believe is necessary to stabilize the general government debt burden by the middle of the decade.”
You can see that Kohler perverted the meaning of th S&P release by highlighting a minor reason on p. 4 of the S&P release.
It is not Bachmann, but rather Kohler, who is perverting the truth.
Lying for the cause has boomeranged against the radical gays and helped Michele Bachmann, who was on target as usual.
The “crazy she-devil” narrative from the Demented Left echo chamber occupied by Kohler has been one of Bachmann’s greatest boosters.
Whenever the press attacks Bachmann, she “gets a flood of support and money. She becomes ‘Every Woman,’ a misunderstood Tea Party mother of five facing down an elitist, arrogant, Obama-leaning press corps.” The dogs bark, but the caravan moves on.
    8/2/11 Rasmussen Poll: Romney 44% vs. Bachmann 42% in a two-way race.

Just so everyone knows. I posted the reply from Derek Wain just to prove that I was open to all opinions.

That being said Wain is a right Wing nutter who’s comments are all over the Internet defending Bachman and the GOP. And as a typical right wing loon he’s spinning like a whirling dervish to just the GOP at any lengths. In his S&P argument he i using a snippent of “ratinonal” overview against one of the specific reasons S&P mentioned naming the GOP on why it has lowered its rating.

Check out Wain’s Twitter account @!/DerekWain and read all about his Bachmann Fatal attraction and how much of a rightie wingnut he is.
