Video – Rick Santorum Defends Signing Iowa’s Anti-Gay Pledge – Roll Over Rover Let Ricky Take Over!

Rick “Man On Dog” Santorum appeared on CNN this morning to defend his signing of Iowa’s Bob Van Der Platts and his radical anti-gay groups “marriage pledge”

Santorum pulled himself out of his frothy mix just long enough to tell Candy Crowley on State of the Union this morning:

When I first read it I was taken aback, but I can’t argue that I wasn’t, but I understand why they are saying that. Because it does undermined peoples’ respect for the institution, respect for the people governing this country. If you can’t be faithful to the people that you are closest to, then how can we count on you to be faithful to those that you represent.

Interestingly, CNN remiss in its full reporting of anything GOP did not mention the pledges inclusion that includes a statement that African-American families were better off under slavery.   Cowards.
