Is Going To Netroots Nation 2011! WOWZA! will be joining thousands of other progressive blogger, journalists, advocates and activists at Netroots Nation 2011 from June 16th – 19th in Minneapolis. MN.  (Watch out Michelle Bachmann and Bradlee Dean here I come!)

Netroots Nation’s Agenda is about focusing on building a long-term capacity within the progressive movement, pushing the practice of online and offline organizing forward and changing the debate on policies by use of includes panels, hands-on training sessions, caucuses (including LGBT) and strategy sessions, film screenings and tons of social events

On June 15th, there will be an LGBT Pre-Convention where LGBT bloggers from across America and also outside the country will meet to discuss strategy, politics and what we can do to further the LGBT Equality cause.

I will be posting, live tweeting, and shooting video from both Netroots Nation and the LGBT Pre-Con

You can follow me on Twitter at @Back2Stonewall_  and I’ll be using the hashtags #NN11LGBT

I hope to meet some interesting people this week and learn some things that can help not only this site but also our fight for Equality.

And as usual I will hold no punches and tell it as it is from the Convention.  The good, the bad, and the ugly because hey that’s just the way I am. So expect plenty of information, dirt and snark!

Posting for the next two days might be sporadic.  I am leaving today via bus. (I can’t stand to fly) Greyhound does state that the bus does have Wi-Fi but we’ll see but I will be tweeting throughout the trip via phone so make sure that you go to Twitter NOW and follow me @Back2Stonewall_ .  I’m sure it’s going to be a hulluva ride!

Wish me luck!
