Looks like you can’t keep a scumbag, bible thumping, gay hater down unfortunately.
After a brief absence former Pennsylvania GOP Senator Rick ‘man on dog’ Santorum is back and in an interview with the biased CNS News (Cybercast News Service, formerly called the Conservative News Service) states that it’s “common sense” to keep gays from marrying and adopting children and that “this is nature. And what we’re trying to do is defy nature because a certain group of people want to be affirmed by society.”
For those of you who don;t know him. Santorum was elected to the senate back in 1994 representing Pennsylvania. He demonstrated he was such a radical member of the right that Pennsylvanians kicked him out of office in 2006. one of his most famous homophobe remarks is when he likened homosexuality to “man on dog” sex. Thus the reason why he is called Rick “Man on Dog” Santorum.
In 2004 Dan Savage (my hero) was outraged by some statements Santorum made describing gay sex as deviant sexual behavior, including incest, polygamy, and bestiality, which he said threaten society and the family. Which now is par for the course with these loons but back in 2004 it was extreme.. At the suggestion of a reader, Savage challenged his readers to come up with a sex-related definition for the word santorum as a form of political protest for the express purpose of attaching his name to a sex act that would make his big, white teeth fall out of his big, empty head”.
A vote was taken among the readers of his column. The winning definition: “the frothy mixture of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex”
Dan set up a website, http://www.santorum.com/. The site, also known as Spreading Santorum, gives the official definition of the term “santorum,” under which a brown, splattered stain appears on the otherwise-white page the site remains the top Google result for the search term “santorum” and now Rick Santorum has an unsolvable Google problem thanks to Dan Savage.
It was the ultimate fuck you to Santorum
Now THATS what I call payback and activism! When do we come up with a definition for Perkins, LaBarbera, and Gallagher?
