Republican North Carolina State Representaive Larry Brown sent his fellow House Republicans an e-mail last week where he referred to gays as “queers” and “fruitloops.”
Brown was responding to an e-mail House Minority Leader Paul Stam of Apex sent to members of his caucus about House Speaker Joe Hackney getting an award from the Equality NC Foundation, a gay-rights group. Brown congratulated  Hackney on getting an award from the gay Foundation: writing  “I hope all the queers are thrilled to see him. I am sure there will be a couple legislative fruitloops there in the audience”

Brown sent the email to over 60 people.

You know whats really infuriating about this?  If the fat good old boy bigot replaced “queers” or “fruitloops” with the n-word or anti-Semitic reference he’d be out of a job or facing some very serious shit. But just because they are anti-gay references, he could possibly get away with it even without apologizing.

So lets all contact this pathetic excuse for a human being and Larry “Bud” Mehlman lookalike hillbilly and let him know that he sucks.
