The TARGET Corporation has come forward and said that it WILL NOT  honor the Human Rights Campaign’s request to “make it right” over its sizable donation to MN Forward, a conservative political PAC which has funded campaign ads for anti-gay gubernatorial candidate Tom Emmer. Emmer supports an amendment banning same-sex marriage in Minnesota, among other anti-equality measures.

In response the Human Rights Campaign will be donating 150k to Emmer’s rival Mark Dayton .(Even though HRC’s Hilary Rosen Champagne fund should have already planned to donate money to such candidates. It’s THEIR REASON TO EXIST AFTER ALL.  So it’s not really much of a big deal it is for HRC.)

Every LGBT person and every straight american that believes that big business has no place in politics needs to immediately cancel thier Target Charge card and boycott Target stores.
