Homo Say What? – BBC’s "Top Gear" Jeremy Clarkson: " ‘I demand the right not to be bummed.’”

“Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson sparked outrage last night by saying he isn’t anti-gay, but just “demands the right not to be bummed”. (ie fucked). The Top Gear studio audience gasped at the quip, which gay activists said proved he is an ass.

Clarkson made the remark to Alastair Campbell while recording Sunday’s show. It was cut from the programme but Campbell revealed the exchange on his blog. He wrote: “I cannot remember how the subject of homosexuality came up, but I said at one point that he wasn’t very sound on gay rights.

“‘Oh yes I am,’ he said, adding, to more laughter from the largely adoring crowd: ‘I demand the right not to be bummed.’”

Gay rights campaigner Peter Tatchell, 58, added: “This isn’t what we expect from a presenter on the BBC funded by the licence-payer.” Campbell, booed by the audience, accused the BBC of a “cover-up” by cutting the exchange.

Clarkson is obviously an idiot and by the looks of him has nothing to worry about when it comes to being “bummed”.

The man put the UGH in UGLY.
